An authentic hotel in the old part of Istanbul. Wonderful location, everything is very close, quiet location, 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, magical in the evening.
The owner of the hotel and the staff made Istanbul wonderful for us! Especially since my wife had a birthday during our stay, they prepared a birthday surprise with a birthday cake - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The breakfast is excellent, the cleanliness is on a high level, the staff is very friendly and helpful, in general a great experience!

It’s true that you can’t expect too much from budget hotels, but from my experience traveling around the world, I believe that good service is essential in the hospitality industry. Friendliness could definitely be improved—after all, this is a hotel, not just an Airbnb.

The lack of drinking water was inconvenient, especially since the nearest mini-market was already closed by midnight. Providing a water dispenser on each floor would be a thoughtful addition.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM during winter, which might be standard in Türkiye, but for guests who need to head out by 8 AM, it’s not ideal.

The location is right across the train station and 10 minutes walking to Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque.

The room was not cleaned after the previous guest. Bed sheets and towels were used and dirty. The view from the window was to a garbage inner yard.
Would never recommend staying there!

The location and price are great. The staff are friendly and helpful too. But rooms are outdated and need to be cleaned dialy ( not once per visit).

It's a nice cozy hotel. Location is right in front of tram station. Blue Mosque is at walking distance. You can have a walk on shore which is just 2 min walk.

Rooms are spacious. 4 beds in it. 24 hr hot water is available.

Breakfast spread is okay.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

We did not face any issue at all during our stay. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This hotel is great for sightseeing as it is just down the road from topkapi Palace, hagia sophia and blue mosque as well as 5 minutes away from the coastal path. It is in a great location and I would definitely recommend. Breakfast could maybe be a touch better but the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Pro: location Cons: very dirty room Stayed with family. Room was spacious with big balcony. But that’s about it. Room is rundown. Dirty. It felt like they never ever mopped the floor. Ever. And the rugs in the room is so dirty. It should be in the bin. Not in the room. Breakfast was ok. The lady at the breakfast buffet was nice and friendly. Stay away from the guy at the reception. He shouldn’t be working in hospitality business. If the hotel belongs to his father, another sibling should take over to give the hotel a chance.

Not at all a pleasant experience. Never pay them rent till they show you the rooms. They booked and charged for Room with Basphorus View but gave a small room without any view. Staff at the reception will try to fleece you and will not listen to you, if you have paid them in advance. They try to be offensive and shout at you. A very bad experience. The Hotel is not recommended for stay even for a night. Only thing positive was the lower staff. They were courteous and forthcoming.

This place is definitely for those who wants to experience presence of great immersive history of Istanbul...great location, good services. My only advice is to start your city discovery when it's really early in the morning. Less people and not so hot

I recently stayed here and enjoyed every bit of my stay. The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. The customer service is top notch. Every single staff member was professional, courteous and helpful while I was there. I was always greeted with a smile no matter what time of the day, Mehmet, Shahin and the two ladies on their team all were exceptionally nice.The Turkish breakfast spread is a feast in itself and the variety of breakfast items was just simply awesome. Another great thing about this place is that it is conveniently located close to all major attractions in the Sultanahmet area, easy access to public transport to go to Eminonu for Bosphorus ferry ride or to Karakoy to vist Galata tower or the Taksim Square area.
