Kadirga Antik Hotel

Our room on 4th floor was very small, bed was not large enough for 2 adults. Shower drain was not functional. Breakfast was basic. Sheets, towels have a strong odour. Bags of used towels are all around the floors. Rooftop terrace is useless, only some broken chair to have a smoke, nothing like on pictures.

Hallway carpets, etc. was dirty. After a cleaning, our room was not locked. Light switch falling off, no carpets like on photos, signs of mold in the bathroom.

Staff refused to cooperate, they barely speak English and do not care at all.

Worst part: after 2 nights, my skin on back and shoulder started itching + blooding bumps appeared, probably due to bed bugs' bites or so.

Avoid this hotel. Their uploaded pictures are very far from reality. Total scam.

My recent stay at Kadirga Antik was an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise against anyone booking a stay here. The list of disappointments is extensive, and I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from enduring the same ordeal.

First and foremost, cleanliness was severely lacking throughout the hotel. The mattress was stained, towels and sheets had a foul odour, and the overall condition of the room was appalling. The walls were peeling, the carpet was filthy, and the floor lacked proper finishing.

To make matters worse, upon arrival, we were greeted by a huge bag of dirty towels right next to our room, which remained there for three days. The staff member at the front desk was unhelpful and dismissive, and the breakfast provided was both meagre and late, despite the advertised opening time of 8:00 AM.

Adding insult to injury, the mini-fridge in our room was non-functional whenever we left the room, rendering it useless. Additionally, one night we were rudely awakened by a loud altercation in the hallway involving a hotel staff member, prompting us to intervene to maintain peace for our sleeping toddler.

The shower experience was equally frustrating, resembling something more suited for an octopus with its spray pattern. And to top it off, there were insufficient towels provided for the number of guests in the room, forcing us to rummage through cabinets in search of extras.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, but that's where the praise ends. Do not trust the photos online—they bear no resemblance to the grim reality of this establishment.

In conclusion, I urge prospective guests to steer clear of Kadirga Antik and explore alternative accommodation options. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone else

It was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Came to Istanbul with my family to run the Marathon on November 5, 2023 with my son, I experienced an accommodation room with a hole in the door wall, dirty bedding, rusty furniture, but the strong, suffocating chemical smell was unbearable.. .What did the hotel staff have to say? : - first of all, he took care to charge me the full amount for the 6-night stay, then he told me that it is possible in 2 days to offer me something else, then that he will return my money if I don't like it, but it was just a trick because later they shrugged their shoulders and said that if I had paid in cash they might have given it back to me, but that's all they can do, "Booking's rule". So I had to pay at another hotel for another stay for 6 nights (I checked out that very night) and Booking doesn't seem to think they need to step in to fix the situation.

This was the worst days and nightmare ever had to make reservation with this Host. I recommend NOT❌ to make any reservation even for one hour, Rooms was full of insects and ants so that your body can get hurt during the night.

i was obligated to stay as other option not available or vacancy nearby at all due to high peak time, they changed the room then AC was not working. I borrowed fan but later on 1.30 AM receptionist keep knocking the door to get it back saying " not our matter".

This hotel has several problems and when they are unable to deal with it they don’t want ti give you a refund.

They took money from me even though they gave my room to someone else. My son got bitten by bedbugs as well
