Reviews
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I felt relaxed throughout my entire stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment made it easy to unwind and enjoy my time away.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free holiday. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience—I’ll definitely be back!
Additionally, we experienced a water outage for several hours without any prior notice from the hotel. The maintenance work to fix the issue was noisy and disruptive, with banging and drilling in the corridor. To make matters worse, on two separate occasions, the water was dirty, which I reported to the staff. They did take action to address the issue, but it was an added inconvenience.
Eventually, the hotel staff relocated us to a different room.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, with repetitive and cold food that seemed to be straight out of packets. The dining area also had mismatched cutlery and broken cups.
While the staff were friendly and tried to assist, it was clear they were limited by a lack of training and resources. The hotel's cleanliness was also a concern throughout our stay.
To be honest, I've traveled extensively, and this hotel was by far the worst place I've stayed in. The numerous issues and lack of attention to detail were staggering. I would strongly advise against staying here. Unless significant changes are made, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone."
After checking in, we saw that our room was meticulously arranged and that made us all quite happy.
However, there were some, if not a lot, of things that brought our experience to dismay:
- No heating everywhere. The bathroom was super cold, and showering was a challenge. In fact, there were no radiators inside the bathroom. Our actual room did have a heater, but it could not function at all. We told the staff that the heating doesn’t work, they came in and said that it would work after some time. But when it did not work, we called them again but they gave us thin towels as extra blankets instead of fixing the actual problem.
- Refrigerator did not turn out, and after telling them so, they replaced the current one with a working one from another empty hotel room.
- We suffered the whole night, shivering in the harsh cold temperatures. As a result, all of us got a cold and for me, my asthma worsened.
- We told what happened to the receptionist, and they gave us a new smaller room with a supposedly working heater, but the heater did not work there as well. The new bathroom did not have a lock either.
- Breakfast was awful. Everything was stale. The beans felt like they were made two days ago, and they were cold to the touch.
- Our new room has a kettle without a plug or a switchboard, nor cups for the coffee or tea, as if the kettle was just for show without any proper function.
However, all the staff were trying their very best to help, and they were very polite and friendly. But because of the poor facilities within, our overall experience was pretty awful to say at least.
We do not recommend this place!
and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and my room was well-maintained and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance. The location was perfect—close to major attractions and public transport. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. Overall, I highly recommend Kadirga Antik Hotel for anyone visiting the area!
Hallway carpets, etc. was dirty. After a cleaning, our room was not locked. Light switch falling off, no carpets like on photos, signs of mold in the bathroom.
Staff refused to cooperate, they barely speak English and do not care at all.
Worst part: after 2 nights, my skin on back and shoulder started itching + blooding bumps appeared, probably due to bed bugs' bites or so.
Avoid this hotel. Their uploaded pictures are very far from reality. Total scam.
