Wonderful experience, very helpful and friendly staff. 5 star’s services. Delicious open buffet breakfast. Best location. The cleaning is also amazing here, the room has been cleaned every single day including towel change and other details. We tried the Turkish Hamam and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed the time we stayed at this hotel. Highly Highly recommended.

This experience certainly doesn't encourage anyone to visit again. If you read all old comments, same issues again and again.
checked in late in the Monday 22nd july evening, the room was hot and stuffy - 24/25 degrees. The windows don't open.
The air conditioner circulated air throughout the room, but did not cool.
At the same time, it was cool in the common areas of the hotel, that is, the air conditioners worked well there.
AC was not working and I was sweating, requested some to look at it . He came looked at the switch , said ok and left.
After complaint to manager, change my room but it's same problem there, but it's not only, next door kids keep making noise till late, so i couldn't sleep for 2 nights, manager didn't offer any compensation. Poor service.

I wish I could give less than One star!
Kaya Istanbul is incredibly cheap in their treatment of tourists. We were sent to this hotel which has Partnered with Turkish Airlines to encourage visits to Turkey, they fail miserably! The buffet was shockingly stingy—shown in the photos is the whole buffet items! more like leftovers than a real buffet. It made us feel like we were receiving charity. The room was tiny and outdated, not suitable for three people. This experience certainly doesn't encourage anyone to visit again. So pathetic!

It was wonderful experience to stay at Kaya.
Few minutes walk from fair ground.
Large lobby.Spacious rooms. Big dining room to accommodate large no of guests.Wide choice in breakfast. Delicious food for dinner. Very much enjoyed by our guests from Germany & Egypt.
Always smiling staff to have positive atmosphere.
They are very kind, courteous & helpful.
Guest Relations Manager Mr Altin very co-operative. Very active & dynamic. His valuable suggestions helped us a lot.He keeps meeting guests regularly. Pleasing personality is truly praiseworthy.
Mrs Sana in dining room welcomes guests with sweet smile. She is very co-operative & tries best to help everyone.
Certainly best place to stay but at a long distance from city.
People would love to stay again and again.

We had a very long layover with Turkish Airlines and they arranged for us to stay at Kaya and we were extremely pleased. The hotel was lovely. Our room was large, the bed very comfortable and the room very quiet. Also, it was extremely clean. The breakfast was just wonderful and staff very polite and helpful. Really a very nice stay for some very tired travelers!

Turkish Airlines made us stay in this hotel following to an overbooking situation. The room was very spacious (clothing room separated from the bedroom/living room and there was a bathtub and a shower in the water room) and there are all the necessities needed. The staff were super friendly and supportive. We had a very relaxing few hour stay until our next flight.

Stayed here 17 /20 April while attanding Turkey Build Exhibition it is ideal as it is only a 5 minute walk to the Exhibition centre. Staff at the Kaya were friendly and offered excellent service . I will especially mention Umit Altin Sena who was so helpfull to me.

Turkish Airlines made us stay in this hotel following to an overbooking situation. The room was very spacious (clothing room separated from the bedroom/living room and there was a bathtub and a shower in the water room) and there are all the necessities needed but the room is very old fashioned (style of the 80s) so I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to cozy interiors. It felt like staying at my rich grandparents manor.

This hotel is suitable for conferences and exhibitions, because it is difficult for you to go anywhere and leave your event. However, it is not suitable for tourists who want to take a vacation and travel around visiting various places when you are in Istanbul. It is 1 hour away (to the south) by taxi from the new Istanbul airport, and 1 hour from the city center (to the west). For a 'five' star hotel, the rooms seem ordinary, even 'old fashioned', but clean. The view could be great if you stay on high floors. The hotel staff, for hotels in Turkey, are quite friendly, but not very helpful. The breakfast menu is quite varied. The gym facilities have many choices of equipment that can be used for those of you who feel bored with your conferences or constantly staying in your room.

Turkish Airlines put me for free here after their delay made me miss my connection. Room was fine, breakfast excellent, but horrible service. I wanted to go to the city center (hotel is almost an hour away), and they wanted to arrange ALL my transportation at an exorbitant price, pretending there is no metro in Istanbul and that what I researched online does not exist and I looked at the wrong airport. Ended up paying about 270 lira extra for the taxi they ordered for me (better than paying for their shuttle in cash) because the taxi driver insisted to NOT go by the taxi meter. Obviously some of even the card-payment taxi bill was going to the hotel as well. Scam scam scam, doesn’t matter how friendly you are acting.
