Hostel Le Banc

The hostel is super well located, and the staff is very friendly as well. Met a lot of amazing people here. Everything was super clean and tidy at all times. I'm definitely coming back here!

Among five hostels I stayed in Turkey, so far this is my favorite! It was always clean and the staff were very helpful, and the location is just perfect for everything.

Well, this hostel is the best I had in Istanbul in terms of design and comfort. I liked the bathrooms that each room has, the kitchen was kept clean and tidy. The location is great if you aim at the tourist spots because it's close to Galata tower and Istiklal shopping street.

A very nice hostel with excellent facilities and many social activities. Dorm beds had curtains for privacy, and small lockers with digital locks for valuables. The common room is not excellent, as it is part of a cafe, but the staff is very inclusive and takes people out drinking in the weekend and hosts dinners on Sundays, so it is very social for solo travelers. Very clean, but one shower and one toilet for 10 people was not enough. Location is great, if you want to stay in the historic area, walking distance to most sights and close to subway and supermarket.

Great experience at this hostel. It is clean and comfortable. The dorm room are nice as there are stairs to the upper bunks instead of ladders and the beds are cozy with privacy curtains. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I had an issue and he went above and beyond to resolve it. The hostel is also in a great location close to the Galata tower. The coffee shop downstairs serves a great cup of coffee too!
