Misa Hotel

Travelers should be very careful when booking this hotel. The photos you see on Google Maps and Booking are misleading and do not show the true conditions of the property. Based on the pictures and the high rating, one would expect a proper 4-star hotel, but in reality this place deserves at most 3 stars. The score published online simply does not reflect the truth, and this is very disappointing for guests who book in good faith.

Breakfast is another weak point: it is extremely basic, with very few choices and far below the standards of a real 4-star hotel. To make things clear for future visitors, I am attaching my own real photos of the breakfast and the actual conditions inside the hotel, so that you can see what to really expect.

To be fair, there are some positives: the location is central and safe, the staff are polite, and the rooms are reasonably clean. However, these positive aspects do not make up for the misleading presentation and the false impression created by the photos and rating online.

In conclusion, this hotel needs to be much more transparent and honest with its advertising. Until that happens, I would strongly advise travelers not to rely on the pictures or the score displayed on Booking and Google, as they do not reflect the real experience.

The location of Misa Hotel Istanbul is quite convenient, but that’s unfortunately where the positives end. The staff was unhelpful when it came to parking – we had to figure it out on our own with zero guidance. There are no proper signs for the hotel on the road, making it difficult to locate, especially at night.

To make matters worse, the main door of the hotel was closed when we arrived late at night. Surprisingly, it was a neighboring hotel owner who helped us by calling the hotel. When we finally reached the staff, the response was shockingly rude — he said he was alone and having dinner, with no intention of assisting us.

The room was extremely small and poorly insulated from outside noise, making it hard to rest. The only decent part of our stay was the breakfast, which was actually quite good.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not worth the hassle.

We had a very disappointing stay at this 4-star hotel in Turkey. Upon arrival, we noticed there was a lot of dust in the heaters and the duvets, making the air in the room unbearable. Every night, we all coughed, and our baby vomited throughout the night because of the air quality. Additionally, the rooms are dark, small, and nothing like what is shown in the photos. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we decided to return to Paris earlier than planned, even rebooking our flights. The only positive aspect of this hotel was the friendly staff at the reception. It’s a shame, because this hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating.

The hotel has thieves. I do not recommend staying there because the receptionist is a thief who steals the room safes using a key that opens all the safes. I do not recommend staying there.
