Nevi Hotel & Suites Istanbul Taksim

At first everything is great. The location is good, the receptionist was friendly and the manager came and told me my room was upgraded to a suite for free. Which was great until the time for sleep came.

Because of the location (which is on the istiklal st.) The constant voices are expected, but not to this degree. I've been to hotels on the istiklal st before on the second floor and their window's sound proofing were perfect but this hotel at the 4th floor was extremely loud.

The bathroom did not have tootbrush and toothpaste and when asked they said they didn't have it and did not say that they will remedy this.

And for the most important part which is cleanliness. The floors and the bathroom looked clean at first so everything was great. But then the pillowcases had makeup on them and the dark pillowcases had very questionable stains on them. The sheets also had some stains. They did not smell like they were recently washed and in fact smelled of perfume.

I called and asked them to at least bring me clean sheets but they said they'll chack with their 'friends' tomorrow!! When I said I can't sleep on dirty sheets he said he'd get back to me and when he did he just said they didn't have any clean sheets and couldn't do anything!!

If a hotel doesn't have clean sheets at hand what does that say about it?? And if the staff just point blank refuse to provide basic hygienic material? Absolutely horrible experience.
