Park Hyatt Istanbul - Macka Palas

Nice rooms, comfortable bed, great location, good soundproofing, mostly nice decor (I’d love to see better furniture that goes well with the room rather than generic hotel chairs/couches that felt a bit out of place). This hotel now is now owned by the salt bae person (had we known that before we would probably not book it in the first place lol) which obviously makes any remarks about taste and design irrelevant, but I hope the better parts of the rooms remain intact in the coming years. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Taking one star off for breakfast—do yourself a favor and go to one of many incredible, authentic breakfast places nearby. Hotel breakfast just ain’t it and was mediocre if I’m being generous.

One of my favorite hotels to stay at. 2nd time here . They took excellent care of us. Anything we needed , came immediately. Being a Hyatt globalist member also gets you free breakfast

We had an incredible experience with the customer service. The hotel is a perfect city hotel, located in one of the most beautiful parts of Istanbul, offering a stunning view of the Bosphorus from its rooftop bar. The coffee there is fantastic as well. We stayed in a King-size premium room while our children stayed in a twin-bed premium room. The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent, and no noise from outside disturbed us. The bathroom and steam room were fantastic. Interestingly, the rooms have a water fountain with filtered water, and complimentary bottled water is provided daily. Additionally, the complimentary Turkish delight and fruit platters were a nice touch.

The beds were very comfortable. Although the lobby is a bit small, the cappuccino café on the second floor is a pleasant spot to start the day. The gym is really spacious and well-equipped. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My favorite aspects were the rooftop bar, the steam room in the room, and the central location of the hotel. Breakfast was nice with an open buffet, and we had dinner at the hotel’s Nusret restaurant, although the air conditioning in the breakfast area and Nusret’s dining area was inadequate. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service was perfect, and the bedroom and bathroom were excellent. There are great restaurants at the hotel, and the gym was very luxurious, equipped with high-end tech machines.

I had a wonderful stay and loved every aspect of the hotel. The staff was beyond amazing and my family truly felt that the moment we walked into the lobby everyone was wanting to please and this was the same in the restaurant, room service, housekeeping, and so on.
We stayed on the 8th floor which I believe was one of the nicest and most luxurious rooms that I have ever stayed in.
The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend trying the stuffed bread that was being made by hand and added to the breakfast experience.
The work out facilities were some of the nicest I have ever seen.
I definitely would give this a 5 stay rating and would rate this as good if not better than any 5 stay hotel I have stayed in. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel for a memorable stay!

I invited my girl friend to a trip in Istanbul and had the intention of proposing to her. Therefore I was looking for a fancy hotel in the Nişantaşı area and found this gem for a very affordable price.

We had arrived quite early in Istanbul and after a quick phone call, the hotel allowed us to check in early. When we arrived the staff was soo helpful and everything was prepared.

The room was spacious with nice prints of Ara Güler (a famous Turkish photographer) on the wall. The bathroom had a separate shower room that also acted as a steam room. The night view was great as well as we could see the bridge at night.

The breakfast was very delicious with a lady preparing fresh gözleme everyday and wide range of different egg/ omelette combinations.

We also had a hamam / spa session for 45 minutes which was very relaxing with competent masseurs.

But my highlight was that after we told them I had proposed they had a small cake prepared in the room and it is these little details that made this trip for us an unforgettable experience.

I would with no hesitation recommend this place and we will sure come back again. Thank you to the team at Macka Palas.

I love this place everything is plus only one thing they have small spa with hamam room but no pool. The interesting thing first time I see in 5 star hotel that they want to see you a package that I have to pay 50 euro for self use without therapist for this big turkish bath or either I cant use. There is noone at spa this beautiful hamam is not serving anyone it sleeps there they should make it free of charge. It is not about money it is not very convenient if you pay 400 frank for room in 5 star hotel to ask your guest for 50euro package in the middle of spa while you are naked to take shower. Thats all. But the rest is very good specially nusret restaurant TOP.

We had a truly lovely stay at the Park Hyatt in Istanbul. It’s located in a beautiful more peaceful area of the city center. The hotel was clean with gorgeous flowers and the staff exceptional. Every element organized by the hotel was one step ahead even to the consideration of excellent housekeeping. Would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from Dec 24-28 2023 and had a great time. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is a level that many European hotels can learn a thing or two from (including adding more veggies and fresh fruits to the staple of bread, cheese, and meat), the rooms are spacious, and the location is central, depending of course on where in this metropole you have to be.

I'm a "professional traveler", on the road about 40-45 weeks per year (if not more) and this certainly was one of the best experiences I had in the price range up to ~350 EUR/night.

All in all, we had a great time and will happily return. Thanks team Hyatt!

What a fantastic place to stay! The staff here are fantastic and ready to cater to your every need. Decorated the room for my partners birthday, delivered flowers and a birthday cake. Always checking to see if we needed anything. The sauna and shower room that was in our room was also fantastic. The massage day for us was great and both masseuses were very professional. Can't recommend this place enough. Once again all the staff were fantastic!!
