The hotel is in a great location. There are restaurants and bars in front of the hotel. (I recommend the English pub across the street and DubPub.)
On Saturday night, it was impossible to sleep because there was live music in the bar, and the hotel’s soundproofing isn’t good.
The housekeeping staff were excellent, changing towels daily and keeping the room clean.

The breakfast was poor, with only the basics. We missed scrambled eggs, cold cuts, spreads, yogurt, cereals, pastries… None of that was available.

The hotel’s interior is outdated, not like in the pictures, but the important thing is that everything was clean and tidy.

Personally, I think the price is too high for what is offered.

The stuff are super helpful and very honest, i forgot my money cash in the room after the check out and i realized that while i was at the airport, i called the hotel and the fast response was amazing, they kept the money till i sent someone to take the money, special thanks to Mrs: Rasha she was very helpful and kind hearted, i highly recommend it if you are looking for a very accessible location and friendly stuff and very good breakfast.

The hotel is within a few meters away from the British Consulate and 5 mins walk away from Istiklal Street and about 15 mins walk away from Taksim Station. There are a variety of food options within 5-15 mins walk depending on what you fancy. Despite being a vegeterian and a fussy eater, I was very happy with the options which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. The staff were nice but the facilities were not the cleanest. Our rooms were on 1st floor and both rooms stank of smoke. The pub downstairs was noisy too and the traffic noise and loud music from the Chapelle bar/club went till 1am or more every night desipte not being weekend. Special mention for the cleaning ladies who were really nice and courteous. There's also a little corner shop withing a few meters. The indian restaurants around the hotel are actually Pakistani restaurants which we figured later. So perhaps they might offer good options if you are non vegetarian. My favourite places: 1) Safa: For Baklavas specially Soguk baklava. 2) The Himalayan Restaurant: Nepalese restaurant for amazing vegetarian options like Momos, Dal roti etc. 3) Falafel House: Great falafels. 4) Any clean vendor: Freshly squeezed orange juice.

Well, I’ve checked the reviews and found so many positive comments on it, so, I actually made my booking on the same day of arrival, although the check in was super easy and quick. Very friendly staff. Great location in which is near to bus station and definitely istiklal street. Clean rooms. The breakfast was at the 8th floor and the view was great. Variety of food was great as well. Also, the staff who were at the breakfast were super helpful and friendly, especially Rasha (from Yemen), Claudia (from Lebanon) and Khadijah (from Asia). I loved the diverse culture of employees and would like definitely to thank Aukan (hopefully I am writing the name correctly) who helped us with the room (he is Turkish). Overall, I loved my stay there and would definitely come again. Good value for money.

We just adore this hotel, the perfect accommodation for holidays in Istanbul.
Great location, close to everything, transport facilities and the hotel provides a lot of facilities also.
Above all, we would like to thank each and everyone for your kindness and everything you’ve done to make our stay unforgettable. We are already looking forward to come back again.

We stayed for 6 nights, family of 5 to explore Istanbul.
Location is great, walking distance to the main Istiklal St, taxim Square and the tunnel tram which we used daily to reach Karakoy tram and sea port.
Plenty of cafes, restaurants, street foods all walking distance from hotel.
We had the family rooms which consists of two interconnecting rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 single beds, 1 double bed and a large sofa bed. Rooms are comfortable and were more then adequate for our stay.
Breakfast on the 8th floor terrace with views of the sea was good and enough choices for all our family members. Big thanks to Raser, Claudia and all the staff members who looked after the dietary requirements of my children. Top service.
Also have to mention the hotel management including Yusuf, Oktan, the young lady at reception and young lad who we named Ronaldo for his resemblance to CR7! All very helpful, professional and friendly.
All in all if your looking for a great location, friendly service and a fairly priced hotel, this is the one. This was my second vist to this mega city and stayed in Sultanahmet the first time, however the location of pera hill was much better for our stay and yes, we would definitely stay again.
One thing to consider, there is a bar next to the hotel and 2 night out of 6, music was played till the early hours. This did not bother my children as after a days exploring this great city, a cozy bed is all they needed.

I will first write about the con’s after which I will move to the pro’s.

We selected the hotel based on their rating of “4” on Agoda. However, after checking-in we experienced that the room was very small for a “4” star rating hotel. We had two big luggage along with carry-on’s and we were confused to hell where to adjust those bags since there was no space to walk.

The central air conditioning was not up to the mark so we had to request them for a pedestal fan to make the room bearable. Thank God, that we were travelling / exploring Istanbul which used to exhaust us and made it easier for us to doze off after the whole day or else it would have been difficult for us to sleep in the room.

Our breakfast was included in the package and I must say that I was disappointed to the core. There was no variety as such in the breakfast and the lady that served us egg took ages to make them. Coffee and Tea was terrible and will recommend to not select the breakfast and rather eat on the Istiklal which is near to the hotel.

Moving to the Pro’s

1. We couldn’t have ask for a better location as it is very near to the main Istiklal Street. Moreover, bus stations Omer Hayyam and Tepebasi are on walking distance from where you can get onto the buses. Top marks on the location part.

2. Hotel offered us free of cost taxi service for drop-off to Airport from the hotel.

3. Hotel Staff / Management were very polite and used to listen to all our queries. However, due to the limitations those queries were not resolved.

Overall satisfied. The room was very small, but that was already mentioned on the website. Breakfast was OK, lots of cheese and some good salads, Rasha and the other Lebanese lady at the restaurant were very helpful. The hotel is close to Taksim Square and also across the street from the public bus that goes to fatih.

Starting with the location, very central just behind the main shopping road, Taksim. The rooms are clean and well stocked with amenities. Now to the big issue, the staff, they are very kind and helpful. The lady in the bar downstairs is so hospitable and friendly, same as with the staff on the 8th floor, especially Ms. Rasha, who didn't spare a moment with being kind to us during breakfast.

I sincerely recommend this hotel for any visitor to Istanbul

The Pera Hill Hotel offers a fantastic location just off the bustling Istiklal Street, putting you in the heart of Istanbul's vibrant action. This prime spot means you are steps away from a myriad of bars, restaurants, shopping venues, and nightlife, as well as being within close proximity to the iconic Galata Tower. You can also enjoy a leisurely 45-minute walk to the historic Grand Bazaar.

The rooms, while functional, appeared quite dated and in need of some refurbishment; the bathtub was falling apart. The hotel staff was mostly accommodating, though the manager seemed intense, overbearing, and often overwhelmed. The check in process was chaotic, and while there is a satellite parking lot available, I'd highly recommend that you find other transportation.

One of the highlights of staying at The Pera Hill Hotel is the delightful rooftop breakfast, included with your room, which offers stunning views of Taksim and the Bosporus and a nice spread with an egg/omelette station.
