With a rooftop view of the bay is great place for breakfast.

First off, the corridors smelled like rotten eggs every day, which was extremely off-putting. As a guest of the hotel, I was shocked that they wouldn’t let me use the hamam without charging an extra fee. For a so-called five-star hotel, this is unacceptable.
The breakfast is another major disappointment. It’s ridiculously overpriced at over 40 euros per person, and offers nothing special. The fruits were of poor quality, and the overall selection was underwhelming.
The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout my stay, making the experience even worse. The beds were very small—definitely not enough space for two people to sleep comfortably.
As for cleanliness, the hotel fell short again. The cleaning standards were not up to par, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Rixos Pera Istanbul was very, very bad. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. It does not live up to its five-star rating in any way.
