I really enjoyed my stay at Santa Sophia Hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The cleanliness of the entire property, including the rooms and common areas, was outstanding. The location was very convenient — close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and varied every day, and the atmosphere of the hotel felt very welcoming and safe. Everything was well-organized, and I felt truly at home during my 8-night stay.

Good location just near Hippodrome and Blue Mosque ;
: crash pad for one night between flights while meeting a friend for coffee , and wanted to revisit my old haunts in Fatih .
For the price you get what you paid for : old old establishment prob in need of a thorough refurbishment and renewal , but was clean , convenient , quiet — And had the greatest added benefit of the very helpful gent at reception ( whose name escapes me at the moment ) , who just could not do enough :: when I made the booking in haste from the airport , apparently I had managed to book one of their ‘basement rooms’ without window , which is an absolute no-go for me .
He kindly without added cost upgraded me to a top of the building room , away from din of the city . I much appreciate it .
If you’re ok without fancy stuff , it’s a serviceable pit stop for a night or two .

This hotel is in an excellent location, everything is very close, good rooms with very efficient room service. The attention at reception makes all the difference, they help with everything we need. Excellent breakfast. Congratulations to all the staff at this hotel.

I have reserved a room in this hotel, and I didn't yet check the reviews on Google map counting on the reviews of Booking only.
And I Could say that I really regret it NOW.
And the issue is my reservation is not refundable.
Therefore, I hope they have improved their services after those tonnes of negative reviews and keep sending " Sorry for inconviniece " won't help. Even I am a valuable customer for Booking.com and they offered me a free airport taxi and when I booked it, I was surprise receiving an email stating that this service is not free !!!!!!!.
I am looking forward to being impressed after getting disappointed pretty much up to this moment.

We had a really good stay here. Great value. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Very clean. The decor is a bit dated but they get the important things right.

Breakfast was okay. Staff’s english is quite poor. Our room was really old, but clean enough. For 1-2 nights it’s perfect, but do not expect too much. Location is good, everything is near.

Nice location, however the rooms and indoors are very old. The hotel needs a lot of repairs and maintenance.

Found hair all over the room. Under the sheets, beds, shower, sink and all over the floor. I am not sure if the place was cleaned. The breakers is average nothing special. The hotel is located near all the main tourist areas

The staff at this hotel was extremely rude and pressured us into accepting a basement room without any windows, even though we had booked a normal double room. They claimed no other rooms were available and refused to refund the difference for the room we had originally paid for.
While the hotel's location is convenient, I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a conflict-free and relaxing vacation due to the hostile treatment we received.

Pros. Good value for money, good location and breakfast included.
Cons. Shower was just the hand held shower head, quilt was basically a towel. Room very very basic.
If you just want a cheap room this is the place.
