Seven Days Hotel - Istanbul

Horrible stay
I never ever see a filthy hotel as this one. I can’t describe how dirty it is, it started by an unpleasant mold smell as soon as you enter the room, dirty bed sheets, dirty floor , dirty towels … the list of filthy things can’t be described.
The staff are plenty of unfriendly people, with your are not welcome here attitude.
Honestly the stay on this hotel is enough for me to never visit Istanbul ever again.
Save your money and your family and don’t book a room there.
The only reason why we were forced to stay as we booked overseas non refundable and we were a big group and it was hard to find another place for all of us.
But this place is by all means unbearable,

Bad experience. Had to switch to another hotel the first day because our room wasn't ready yet. Bad sound isolation and a mosque woke us up during the first prayer call every morning, around 4am. Sheets smelled sour and were not changed by roomservice until we specifically asked. Payed Seven Days Hotel for a Taxi to take us to the airport, but it came 30 minutes late, while the hotel staff kept giving different explanations for why it was late and that it would only take 5 more minutes, not recognizing they were leaving us in limbo for that time.

We stayed at this hotel for one night but if I had a second night booked I would have left after the first and found another hotel. When we arrived, the staff were lovely and really helpful. However we were checked in and given a room downstairs next to reception. This meant that during the night we heard every person who came back. The doors must be very thin because we could hear every conversation and were woken so often that we barely slept. One woman arrived back and was shouting in the lobby for around 30 minutes and we couldn’t sleep at all. When we mentioned this to the staff the next morning, they denied it and didn’t try to make up for the inconvenience whatsoever. I wouldn’t rule out this hotel altogether but ensure that you get an upstairs room.

if hygiene is an important factor for you, do not come to this hotel! when my boyfriend and i first arrived, the staff were rude and unhelpful, they didn’t even tell us our room number. when we got to our room, we realised that instead of getting the double bed room we booked, we got a room with two beds. we asked the staff if this was a mistake, but we only got a look in return. after further inspection we noticed that there were small red stains on our bedding and on one of the towels, and the pillows had yellow stains on them (see photos below). we also stopped using the elevator because it was incredibly filthy. breakfast is alright, but not great. if you’re looking for something quick before heading out then it’s fine, but again it may not be appealing since the glass bowls and cutlery have water (?) stains on them. overall, our stay wasn’t terrible, especially since the location was really good. however, the things above were definitely deal breakers for us, we would not recommend at all.
