I’ve stayed at a number of different hotels in Istanbul, and after having a few great stays at The Soul I’m now convinced that it’s the best hotel in the city. Location is great, it’s quiet, rooms are modern and well-designed, and it is EXTREMELY clean. One thing to know though is that their beds are on the softer side — not uncomfortable by any means, but just be aware. And yes, the service is as truly as great here as everyone has already mentioned in reviews — this feels like a hotel that is above its star rating, something that is very rare to see.

Beautiful room, great service, and perfect location. We had a fantastic stay at The Soul Hotel and would return in a heartbeat.
Breakfast was delicious, everywhere was clean and well presented and to top it all off, they might even have the world's smallest elevator!

We had a great experience at the Soul Hotel: clean, very well located and nice staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The windows are double glazed, limited the sound coming from the street. The hotel is very well located in Beyoglu, only 10mins away from the metro station and the seaside. The only improvement could be the breakfast: not enought fresh products and too many cats wandering around. We recommend that place for a short stay.

I loved my stay at The Soul Hotel. I just have to thank everyone who is part of the team. ALL the employees were kind to me, there was a man (unfortunately I don't remember his name), who was very sweet, he lent me his metro card, so I could get around the city faster, he taught me where to take the metro, etc. . Breakfast was not included in my daily rate, but they didn't want to charge me, they told me it was a courtesy. I felt welcomed the entire time. The hotel was impeccably clean. The location is great! I will return to Instabul and I will definitely stay with you. P.S Just missing an air conditioner or a fan.

The location was amazing, amenities were excellent and their staff were super helpful- every ready to help us with directions, recommendations as well as keeping us hydrated during our entire stay. Baris was very helpful and went out of his way to find us a cab when we couldn’t get one and always had a smile on his face to greet us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Only downside would be the beds and pillows were too soft. Other than that, everything was 10/10!

I want to say real big honest THANKS to Baris .
He is super carefore friendly and super cute . He helped me a lot . Another staff is very friendly and helpful too .
The hotel is super stylish , cozy , clean and with a lot of soul . The location is perfect.
I enjoyed my stay very much and i will come back to the Soul hotel at my next trip to Istanbul . 100% honest recommendation

- firstly the staff at this hotel were fantastic. but my whole experiance was terrible and my trip to istanbul was ruined. firstly i arrived at the hotel. extremely small and was put into a room right next door to reception. every single minute all i could hear was the noise from reception, people talking, and then combined with the noise from the street (which is expected in istanbul) my whole trip i had no privacy, i was being watched everytime i walked into my room and out, i felt like a prisoner in my own room. i was excited about the fact that as a solo traveller i may meet friends and they could come around and go from there but there was no option for this as i felt like i was being watched 24/7. i asked for a early check out and get refunded for the rest of my stay and i was refused. im so annoyed i wasted my trip on this hotel. the room was extremly small to the point where as 65kg man i could NOT fit in the shower without cutting my body against the shower fixtures. brushing my teeth i was also hitting the wall. never again. i am done with "boutique" hotels and am sticking to high rise hotels sich as the ibis or holiday inn. the breakfast was ok. cereal and breads were stale. only decent thing was the fresh fruit, coffee and omlette.

I stayed at The Soul Hotel Istanbul for 5 nights in September 2022. So happy that I chose the quaint, classy boutique hotel! I stayed in 2 different rooms and loved both. Modern bathrooms and the rooms had beautiful esthetics just as shown in the photos. I loved the neighbourhood. It's less than a 10 min walk to Taksim Square and İstiklal Street yet nestled with in these quaint little streets that have a charm of their own and selection of restaurants, cafés and shops if you don't want to deal with the crowds of Istiklal /Taksim. What made my stay even more enjoyable and comfortable was the warmth, kindness and hospitality of the staff. They helped me with any questions I had, arranging taxis, etc. Special mention of Nizam, Mesut and Baris. These 3 gentlemen were wonderful to me! I can't wait to return to Istanbul and this is where I will stay again!

Really good location, near to one of the main shopping streets in istanbul, and a short walk to the metro station to get into other areas. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was modern as was the rest of the hotel. No complaints at all

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in - what a lovely place to experience the “soul” and liveliness of Istanbul. This hotel is a true gem.
