Recommendable for anyone looking for an affordable but well-kept accomodation in the heart of Istanbul. Sude Konak is situated in a prime location of Eminönü with 5 minutes walk to Topkapı, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and about 10 minutes to Galata Bridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast small but good (on a terrace with a view of Hagia Sophia), the beds very comfortable. Cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved though. Nevertheless, I will consider Sude Konak for my next stay in Istanbul.

The location is good and rooms are clean enough.
But there there was a receptionist on night shift of 5/Feb/2023 he was disrespectable and treat the guests like they staying in his home. He switch off the light on people who sitting in the lobby just to force them to not sit there !! and he was smoking in the lobby as well as looking to the anyone who speak with him as criminal and want to argue with anyone.
Surprisingly to hire receptionist without teach them how to treat guests.
But there there was a receptionist on night shift of 5/Feb/2023 he was disrespectable and treat the guests like they staying in his home. He switch off the light on people who sitting in the lobby just to force them to not sit there !! and he was smoking in the lobby as well as looking to the anyone who speak with him as criminal and want to argue with anyone.

I stayed here for one night, it’s a good location as it’s easily access to public transport. The room is neat and tidy. The most attractive part of this hotel is the restaurant which has very beautiful view. I enjoyed my breakfast a lot with the landscape surround me. The staffs are friendly and helpful as well. Great experience!

I stayed with them for 2 weeks and all I can say is it’s not deserving of a 4 Star rating as a hotel.
Pros:
* Clean Hotel.
* Strategic and Safe Location
* Samet was very kind.
Cons:
* Not soundproof. You will hear the other rooms and in the morning the cleaners can be noisy.
* Ventilation not good. I had to open my windows so that I can breath properly. Maybe because the rooms are really small. I can smell cigarette as well as the food in my room even if windows are closed.
* Same breakfast everyday.
* Some of the kitchen staffs made me feel uncomfortable as they would laugh sometimes when they see me during breakfast and they would talk in Turkish.
* They don’t have a bidet in their toilet. It was a complete disappointment. They also don’t provide toothpaste and disposable toothbrush.
* Reception staffs were not so helpful. They don’t provide extra effort on their service to provide comfort. They said late checkout was not possible as the hotel was full but if I will pay a certain amount then they will allow me. No consideration even if I stayed with them for 2 weeks.
* I have to call front desk all the time to do a room service as their room service staffs would always hang up whenever I call them. Maybe because I don’t speak Turkish. Completely rude!

We stayed there on October.
The hotel is very near public transport and tourist attraction.
Our room was not very clean because there are red stains on the carpet. The room was a bit small but we didn’t mind.
Also, We were super shocked when a female cleaning staff suddenly entered our room withour knocking the door while we were changing our clothes off. That was super red flag.
The staffs there were not very friendly.
The breakfast menu was good enough.
My honest review is I won’t stay there again.

The hotel is ok, more 3*, definitely not 4* by European standards. You can’t trust the stuff which is a huge problem. I asked a person in the lobby to order airport taxi. I was not able to pay for the taxi with credit card (I specifically asked to be able to do so) and I was charged a fixed rate which was much higher than a taximeter. Scammers!

We visited Istanbul in July and stayed at Sude Konak hotel. I must say we were very surprised with the size of the room upon arrival since we came from a very fancy five star hotel in Abu Dhabi to a budget size room, if I may say so. However, our stay at the hotel was nothing short of GREAT! We managed to make use of the space quite well :) so we had no issues!
Hotel is centrally located.
Literally just a walk down from Gulhane Station.
Friendly and accomodating hotel staff.
Yadigar checked us in and he was very helpful.
A special shout out to Chef Tarun (I am sorry if I have the spelling wrong) for helping me out and making sure we ate well or wanted any warm and fresh breakfast :), Samet for helping us with our luggage, aircon and the ironing room and the house-keeping staff who were such wonderful people.
Sude Konak, you have captured our heart!

Sude Konak is a well located hotel in Sultanahmet. It’s staff are extremely responsive and helpful. My only complaint would be noises from the cleaning services that start at 10am, other than that my stay was perfect

the hotel is good, they ran away every day, everything is clean and comfortable, but there are minutes, the room was small, there was a window, but it faced the wall, the walls are thin and you can hear everything

Location is good - close to Gulhane Tram station and very close to popular sites like Sultan Ahmet.
Rooms are decent.
Staff however is unfriendly and not very approachable.
Do not take the airport taxi service from them. It’s a rip off and they are in bed with the taxi drivers who are charging ridiculous fares… scamming tourists.
