This was my second different hostel in Istanbul. This was at least 2x better than the other one, even though this is almost of the same price and the almost the same location.
The only 2 things for which I will highly avoid is the cleanliness of it's kitchen (it was in a pathetic shape, almost pukish) and the extremely stinky toilet. The ones that I am reviewing are in the basement. I am not sure if they had others in any other floors.
The toilet was clean yet extremely stinky. I wouldn't dare use it again.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
The Dorm is extremely comfortable and big.
I got 3 (and I think everyone did) lockers. Which is very kind and enough to safekeep your valuables.
The location is decent. It's near taksim square.
Public Transport is accessible.
Good WiFi.

I love this place, because of the manager :-) (hello, you!). He was very kind and patient.
Some words about service. Everything was wonderful, clean and comfortable. May be a bit noisy, but this is hostel, so what you choose. For this price this is the best place on Taksim square, believe me.

+ Very good location, near all bus stops and near city center. Staff very respectful, receptionists are Yasin and Kerim was very friendly, helpful, open minded and speak english well 🤗- shower rooms very small

Solo female traveler.
Fabulous stay in shared female dorm, clean and tidy.
Lockers for big bag as well as small locker at bedside. 3x power plugs per bed ❤️.
Yassin is a fabulous host.
Could do with a new toilet seat and female dorm door.

This hostel has a fantastic location, with friendly staff and clean rooms. It's a perfect choice for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere.
There was an outlet next to my bed and also privacy curtains that I appreciate so much while sleeping in hostels.

I highly recommand this hostel. I had a great experience staying here for almost a month. It’s small but feels like home. Great value for money. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Wifi works very well. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the location is central and the neighborhood is very calm at night unlike other noisy places in Istanbul. I also felt very safe going out alone at night. I Would definitely come back here next time I visit Istanbul !

Stayed here while I was recovering from LASIK eye surgery and loved it. Close to Taksim Square and lots of great restaurants. The family that operates the hostel are extremely nice Andi would stay they next time I visit Istanbul.

This historic building with its spacious yet comfortable rooms, real air conditioners, private bathrooms, and 24/7 hot water service.

I was charged 20TL more than my room mates. Why??? Was it the colour of my white skin? Be honest with pricing. Hostel is in a good location but the stairs are a nightmare. 120tl is too high for a hostel bed. Not good value.
