Forget other hostels in Istanbul ! This is the best that you can get !

When I ask the staff for making my room a bit warm during cold night, he lend me portable heater.
No need to searching for other hostels. This is it really worth the money !

The rooms are a bit small bit clean and tidy. Really one of the best hostels I've ever seen.
Also, don't miss the rooftop bar and say hi to Selim.
And, Ahmad (Ahmet?), the guy at the reception desk, answered any questions I had very patiently and carefully and does whatever he can to help the guests. He is a real gem.

Accommodation is very near to Taksim square. Budget friendly place with 24h reception. The nearest bus stop is just 2 min away. Rooms do have all the amenities as mentioned. But not so sophisticated. Public toilets and bath areas are plenty mostly all are unoccupied even during peak hours. Rooms are not noise proof, many times we were able to hear people talking mostly till very late at night.

Someone extremely loudly vomited in the hall bathroom for over 2 HOURS. I called the reception many times, never got an answer. People were usually drunk so as a woman I didn't feel safe going out of my room to check it. I had to sit until around 4 AM till the dude stopped yelling/heaving. Reception still not answering. Loud obnoxious music plays everywhere.. there was a hole on the floor of our room. Water leaks in the bathroom. No remote for TVs anywhere in the whole building (we were told) so we cannot use them. Etc.
This place was NOT like how it's portrayed online and if you're not extremely drunk 100% of the time it's impossible to enjoy. We literally ran away from this hostel.

Loved this hostel, comfy bunks with individual curtains and chargers. Good breakfast and views from the terrace. Social events are great and some free ones like movie nights and dinners! Staff are the best. Will stay again when I come through the city

My experience at this hostel was good. Ozan and Ahmed are nice people and handle things politely, except for the person who works in the mornings; he was rude and uncooperative. The only thing that bothered me was that on one day of my stay, when I asked at the reception to extend my stay for an additional day, I found that all my belongings had been removed from the bed and thrown onto the floor in one of the rooms when I returned. Additionally, my shirt went missing. This was disturbing and showed a lack of professionalism in handling customers. The cleaning staff was also unfriendly and not polite. Aside from that, the hostel is clean, and the atmosphere on the rooftop is enjoyable.

This very tiny mosque is inside a basement of a building. I went there during midday and the inside of the mosque was very dark. I could barely take photos and sometimes I had to use the flash. If you are Claustrophobia then probably this would not be a good place for you.

I think it’s the best hostel in Istanbul. The reception guys,especially Ali, is fantastic. He is always very nice to me and to everyone I've seen. He does a great job solving problems in the hostel. I have never had any hostel experience before because hostels are not very popular in my country (China). This experience changed my mind, and I plan to stay in hostels more often in the future. It’s a great way to save money and meet new people from all around the world. It’s a very safe and clean hostel too. Also, the lady who serves breakfast is very nice as well.

I originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 8 nights! Well located place, 10 mins walking from taksim square and metro, easy access to all the main attractions of Istanbul. Good breakfast which is complimentary, staff is cooperative and helpful, the rooms are clean plus the shared washrooms also. Cleaning stuff comes every day to clean. Decided to go on their yacht boat hostel trip and it was amazing, made a few friends, ended up having a great time! Will definitely recommend for anyone who is traveling to Istanbul and looking for a great hostel in a really good price! Special thanks to Ahmet at the reception for looking after my stay!

Zero hospitality in this hostel. The staff are not helpful especially the guy that looked really young. Asked him some questions about where can I find the Turkish coffee and he simply told me to search online! Oh how did I not think about that?! People like this should not be working in a hostel! Get another job if you hate your job so much!
For the room, it’s extremely small in the 4 people dorm. And I MEAN CRAMPED. You cannot unpack your luggage in the room or even open your suitcase. The space between 2 bunk beds can only fit one person. I have stayed in so many hostels and this is the smallest room ever.
Also, the toilets have no toilet paper all the time. You have to go to reception every day to ask for it.For these reasons, I do not recommend this place.
