The hotel is so so, you can see that everything is unfinished. The rooftop bar/restaurant is open so the birds come.I think that because of that there isn't a buffet breakfast.the coffee in the hotel is terrible, but next door there is a small cafe place. The owner is very nice. The breakfast is allways the same.they bring you what you order. If you are staying more days it gets boring.The cleaning lady touched my things. I know what thing I put last in my cosmetic bag and it wasn't at the top. I had my own disposable slippers and they went missing, but were replaced by hotel ones. !?!? She threw away also some small cosmetic things that I was using like shower cap and didn't replace it. It's nothing but it's not ok to touch other person's things. The hotel manages is nice, but for me a little bit too nice. Kept sending messages on my phone. The photos of the hotel seem that everything is luxurious, but it's just a normal hotel. The area in the close proximity of the hotel is dark in the night, I would not recommend for solo travelers. It is up the hill so this can be a problem for people not used to it. We had a fridge but it didn't work. Every morning you can hear the prayers, the windows are not sound proof.

The rooms are nice and comfy. The breakfast is good. The owner really cares about the customers, always asking if everything is fine.

I loved everything about this hotel, me and partner had an amazing week together in Walton hotel especially the location was very close to a lot of attractions and like 3 minutes walk to Galata tower. the service was great, Zeynep and Salim were very nice to us and they showed us the level of hospitality that we did not expect, they made our stay very special. The room was very clean and i really liked the interior design of the reception which looks like very vintage and has a very unique vibes. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely visit again next time.

This is the worst hotel.
A large amount of money was stolen from the safe in the hotels, it was obviously stolen by the cleaner. The administrator and security staged a farce, we stole from ourselves from the series and our police will come and take fingerprints then we will catch everyone, why it is not clear who was in the room and so it was clear. In general, the girl who called herself the owner sincerely turned on, swore that only she had the master key to the safe and she would fire the cleaner. There was no question of a refund.
The hotels specifically took a suite, because I saw not very good reviews about the comfort category rooms. As a result, our suite had one window a meter from the wall of the neighboring house. Neither light nor air enters the room, it is not pleasant to be in it because it is dark in the room. According to the description, we liked the breakfast on the roof - as a result, the roof is located among other buildings and there is no view from it, the space itself looks dirty and old, the breakfast itself is very meager.
The location of the hotel seems convenient, but there are construction shops around, we left for the airport in the afternoon and had to lose almost 30 minutes in traffic jams near the tunnel, because small trucks were unloading. And you can't drive straight to the hotel with your suitcases, you'll have to walk down the hill.

Perfectly designed room. Centrally located. Clean. Nice staff. Nice rooftop bar with good cocktails, though the truffle fries need improving (didn’t actually have truffle).

Our stay at The Walton Hotel was amazing! My first time in Istanbul and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. There was so much to see & do but for the duration that we stayed (3 nights) we were able to visit Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Balat, Topkapi Palace/Sultan Ahmet area, walk to the Galata tower daily & do shopping down Istiklal/Taksim. The location was extremely convenient and all of these areas are within 20 minutes walk & tram ride from the hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating & helpful. We were provided with a free mobile wifi router for when we explored outside & had access to free wifi throughout the hotel, as well as a transportation card & complimentary drinks on the rooftop bar. I had a small issue requiring a needle and thread to mend a clothing item and the front desk provided immediate assistance. The breakfast is fresh & delicious, we especially loved the acma bread/pogaca and the room service was generous & prompt. The hotel is very clean and modern with a pleasant aroma throughout. Beautiful views of surrounding area including Bosphorus and mosques from the room window & rooftop. Felt safe and would deff go back to explore alone with no concerns. Overall the vibes and ambiance were immaculate and I can’t wait to return. ☺️

The place is very convenient for tourist and great for price as it's close to every attractive spots. The staff are amazing and very helpful. A different experience of breakfast service and the morning view give a very pleasant atmosphere. I really thank everyone for the lovely hospitality especially Zeynab the owner, and Sana who were very generous and friendly. I really recommend the place for the great experience we had.

This hotel is great. The staff are friendly, the rooms are modern, clean and relatively spacious. Added bonus of the included breakfast and free cocktail on arrival. Convenient location without being too busy. Would stay again.

Walton Galata Hotel is a boutique style hotel that is only a few steps from the Galata tower. It is run by a very nice family and their pup Sophie. Sophie is adorable and would join me for breakfast each day I was there. Rooms are kind of small, but still comfortable and have everything that you need. There is not mini fridge in the room or a robe. Unfortunately, the AC and WiFi didn’t work that great and I had work to do. There was also a ongoing issue with a light in my room that would flicker constantly after you turn it off. I talked to the staff twice about it and the guy claimed to fix it, but it continued to flicker. Not very pleasant when one is trying to sleep. All in all, a nice place if you want to be next to Galata. The lady who takes care of breakfast is super kind and nice.
