We had a pleasent time at Hotel Villa Zurich. Our room which were clean overlooked the main street. Surprisingly we had peaceful sleeps at night. Reception, housekeeping and waiting staff here were lovely and extremely friendly to our 11 month old.
Breakfast is a turkish buffet style, served on the top floor with a wonderful aerial view of the city.
The location is excellent! There are many cafes and restaurants right at the hotel door. It's also 10 minute walk to the bustling Taksim Square.
The only con was that we had a room with a broken toilet seat.
Apart from that, we had a lovely stay and have already recommended the place to family.

Beware and Never stay here!
Such a bad experience! You are not welcome with your kid if you have one.
I visited the place on the 20th of September 2024 at 17:00 and the receptionist was both sexist and discriminating kids! He said that he has been working there for 3 years so I assume the hotel doesn’t give any hospitality lessons to the staff and doesn’t care loyalty or reputation. Though I am a local and find this place rude, I cannot imagine how they behave foreigners.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in in Istanbul! It has a great location, convenient rooms and not to forget their great, very helpful and welcoming staff! A great value for your money!

The location of the hotel is good. We were there for a night. Loads of options to eat nearby. A bit noisy at night. Rooms were very basic and small for us. The breakfast was also basic.

By far the worst experience I’ve had during a couple of years.
At arrival at 1AM, toilet flush at my room did not work, instead of providing another room, I was asked to wait until tomorrow to fix it. Luckily I didn’t need it at the time, and was tired after the flight to complain much.
At the facility they have a night club or some lounge which is crazy loud till 3AM, you literally feel walls vibrating due to the bass.
It was my mistake not checking google reviews and trusting pictures on booking. I’ll take it as a lesson learned.

I booked through booking normal standard room, then I asked to have a sea view, usually this room is more expensive than the one I booked but they gave me that room.
The staff are very nice and friendly specially Ramzi.

First of all, the room has no light at all. The hotel does not have a good space, it has a very small elevator for two people

I went to this place and it's recommended 👌
The staff there are so nice, and the rooms are cleaned. Best of all is when you go up for breakfast, because there you can see the famous historical places e.g Hagia Sophia etc. In the place called Sultan Ahmed.

It was ok. Not very clean. Very very old style not updated. They speak very little English. The staff are nice and polite. The place itself is very far from the taksim square and none of the taxi drivers ever knew where it was. The rooms are tight. They dont change the pillows or blankets- even if you stay 10 days.
