Konak Saray Hotel

Hello everyone. Think 100 times before booking this hotel. I was there for a week but it was horrible. The reviews from other sites like ******* or Booking are different about this hotel. The furniture is old, not as good as the furniture in Germany. The bathroom taps are rusty, you can't flush the toilet, once you press the button the lid won't open. There is hair everywhere, the aluminum toilet is in the bed. Oh my God, it's so horrible to repeat it all for you. We changed rooms in 4 places. Room 103 was the worst, next to us in the other room we had sex for almost 2 hours. It was too loud even to get to reception. At night they said we would get other rooms in another hotel but in the end that didn't happen. In practice and theory you have no choice to change rooms. One is worse than the other.

Breakfast was the only good part of my stay.

This hotel is infested with mold. Based on conversation with the individual at the check in desk the owner of this place does not care to clean/upgrade anything. Was also implied this is not a place for women to be by themselves. Also very loud street noise in the middle of the night even though it’s in the middle of nowhere.

While I was very tired, I reached this house of terror in the evening and I had to stay here for one night
I don't know what to say that everything was a disaster
The location of the hotel is in the slums of Izmir and the alley is full of criminals, drug addicts and homeless people, so that you can be killed for a coin.

When you enter the hotel, you will be suffocated by the combination of the smell of sewage, damp, mold and drug use
You can't sleep until the morning because of the noise of homeless people and criminals
You definitely can't go back to the hotel after dark because the street is very unsafe
The hotel is full of bedbugs, cockroaches and insects, to the extent that my entire trip was ruined due to bedbug bites, and all the time I returned from the trip, I was treating bedbug bites and blisters.
The hotel bathroom is full of feces

The doors of the rooms are broken and the locks are broken. At night, I pushed the closet behind the door in order to sleep
I had booked this hotel for 4 nights and slept only one night and left there tomorrow with bed bug bites burning from the tip of my feet to the top of my head.
I asked them to refund me at least the money for the nights I didn't stay, but they didn't do that either
They did not return even a single rial even though I followed up a lot
I priced several hotels in that area and went to another hotel for the next few nights
And the price of this hotel is very high for its condition
In the end, I paid 4 times the money for the bed bug bites, sewage smell and other problems
