Reviews
What I liked:
The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, which made my stay pleasant.
The hotel is located very close to the sea, which was a big plus for me.
The water park was a lot of fun and great for families or anyone looking to relax and enjoy the water.
What I didn't like:
The food was a disappointment. It could have been much better, especially for the price. I've stayed in other hotels for less money, and the variety was greater, especially when it comes to seafood.
A major issue for me was the lack of respect towards Ukrainian guests. I came to Turkey hoping to hear Turkish music, but instead, the hotel played cheap Russian pop music throughout the property.
There were many Russian guests who behaved inappropriately, and the staff turned a blind eye, saying that those guests were paying customers and could do whatever they wanted. This behavior was especially noticeable during the hotel’s entertainment shows, where there was also an uncomfortable glorification of Russian culture. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
While the hotel is advertised as family-friendly, I noticed many elderly guests on the beach who constantly complained about children playing and making noise. If this is such a concern for them, I would suggest they consider booking an adults-only hotel instead of expecting families to quiet their kids in a family-oriented environment.
I was really disappointed by this experience, and I won’t be returning to this hotel again.
Alanya is very beautiful
A very big con is that ice cream bar and kids bar near the water park is closed at 4 pm, but the water park is closing at 6pm.
Between 4 and 6 pm kids don’t have fruits, ice cream or any juice to enjoy.
We had a lot of fun at water park.
Sandy beach and warm water in June. The sun beds are a little worn out and the beach is very crowded usually.
Overall a family and kids friendly hotel where everyone has something to do!
shouldnt be right above the bed. 5 stars :)
I like animation team and specially Icilal.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with any request. The resort's location in the heart of the bustling bazaar made it convenient for shopping, and having a doctor and pharmacy just two minutes away added an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind.
The beauty of the place is simply breathtaking, with numerous spots for relaxation and enjoyment. The nightlife was vibrant, offering everything one could desire, and access to the resort from anywhere was remarkably easy.
For families, the resort offered a plethora of activities for children, along with special kid-friendly meals at the restaurant. Every day brought new and exciting activities to participate in, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
I particularly appreciated the 24/7 availability of food and services, which meant that even late at night, any request was met promptly and with enthusiasm from the attentive service team. Special mentions go to Lale Patisseries and Panorama Restaurant staff and chef for their exceptional offerings.
Last think a big kudos to the best activities team starting with Umut, Esra,Icelal, and
Petek
And last thing the 6G Internet that I never had in any resort except Lonicera
To top it all off, the provision of complimentary mineral water, juice, and yogurt was a thoughtful touch that truly enhanced my stay. I can confidently say that this resort goes above and beyond to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for its guests.
95% of the guests are Russians (working class). The hotel personnel doesn’t speak English. I travelled all over the world and I never encountered something like this. Every one speaks only Russian or Turkish.
The hotel is very crowded and the beach is extremely small. You cannot find a sunbed after 8 o’clock in the morning. Also the restaurant is very crowded and the food is low quality and repetitive. They concentrate a lot on quantity rather than quality and there are long cues. Even though we booked ultra all inclusive the drinks were a joke (no international drinks, just cheap sugary, and chemicals liquids). The desserts were the nastiest I ever ate: Some sugary paste every day. Do not be fooled by the good reviews-all the Russians leave good reviews because they feel at home. If all the reviews were posted by non-Russian people, then instead of 4.5 rating Lonicera wold have 2 stars at most. The level of food and drinks is comparable to a 3 star hotel in Bulgaria at all inclusive. I am sure that Russians get better deals for this hotel. We paid 1.500 eur for 7 days ultra all inclusive and now I feel I was ripped off.
The only positive thing I could say is that the rooms were clean, and the cleaning ladies were present every day.
