Reviews
I’ll start with the staff — all the employees were very friendly and pleasant. The service was fast, but one small downside was that the staff didn’t speak English very well. There were moments when I ordered a specific drink in English, but ended up receiving something completely different.
Now, about the food. Breakfast started at 7:00 and lasted until 11:00. In my opinion, the start time was too early, because we usually came around 9 or 10, which seemed to be when most guests arrived. One day we came at 7:30 (it was very hard to wake up that early), and there were hardly any people — plus, not all dishes were ready yet; some containers were completely empty. The food selection wasn’t very diverse.
Another downside was that room cleaning probably starts early in the morning. As I mentioned, we usually left the room around 10:00 and always put up the sign requesting our room to be cleaned. It was cleaned only once during our 7-day stay. We would go to breakfast for about 40 minutes, then return to the room to change for the beach and leave for half the day. The one time the room was cleaned, the staff forgot to restock the snack bar — it was left empty.
Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel’s services and my stay there, and I can recommend this hotel.
When I went to the beach , by system at front desk they checked, that only housekeeping used the key to my room , after cleaning she left the door opened to my room!! So it means to the room could enter whoever and stole money from safebox !
Tomorrow will call police
I will try not to repeat myself as the other reviews but I believe the more people raise it, the more likely it is something to be done about it.
Pros:
-Let me start by saying that this is the most beautiful resort I have ever been too. You really get this luxury sense, you have everything in one place, absolutely loved the private beach, the 3 different outdoor pools and the waterslides were cool, all the bars, the food.
-We had requested a sea view and no ground floor room, and the hotel really listened to us. We had the most stunning room overseeing the swimming pools, greenery and the sea. So in love with it.
-There were pool snack bars and night snack bars. These people don't joke about their snacks 😂 We arrived at 1am in the morning and were sent for some food at the night snack bar and we were presented with a full menu. I and my partner had a burger with fries and kofte with fries, rice and tomatoes. And the portions were huuuuuuge! I was so amazed. Then the pool snack bar, again, they just cook, it's a menu, pizza pasta, they make everything. At least for me, no chance I would be hungry at any point of time.
-The entertainment was good. I thought for a relaxation oriented resort, there needn't be too many activities happening so for me it was more than enough. Some pool activities in the afternoon for like hskf an hour to an hour. I and my partner did the aqua bikes and it was fun. The beach activities, I engaged in Boccia, still don't get the rules, but it was ok, and had lots of fun playing beach volleyball. The evenings was sometimes a hit and miss, with livs performances in the amphitheatre or the lobby bar. My partner won in the bingo game, so that was cool, and the Fantasy dance group was really amazing.
-Parties.
Now, our most memorable activities were the Shaumparty (foam pool party) on Fridays and the night parties on Tuesdays. The foam party was really cool and fun. Both parties have different themes and lots of beautiful decorations.
And everything was in moderation so that it does not disturb the rest of the other guests. I would have loved to stayed one more Friday for one more Shaumparty.
Cons:
Now the cons, I am really trying not to be too negative because there is so much to love about this place.
But, a crucial part of our rest & relax holiday was affected by the nearby hotel Side Sunport. Every day at 10 am there was a wake up music!!! A wake up music which we could hear in our room, soo loudly!! I was waking up so grumpy. And not only this, but also on some days, almost every day, they were playing even louder music between 10 and 12, like we were in Ibiza, I ended up despising JLo's Dance on the floor!! And because that was not enough, on some days they would play again the same loud music in the afternoons and evenings. It was just too much. Too much. Anytime we tried to rest in our room with my partner, we could not and we were getting headaches. Because we couldn't rest properly, we couldn't sleep well either, resulting in constant fatigue and low energy.
I am writing this in hope something would be done. Because frankly that's the main reason that stops me from returning to Adalya Resort and Spa.
There were a few other things as well, but I am willing to compromise on them.
Most of the waiters in the restaurant did not understand English at a decent level. We eventually started ordering our drinks in German, given the staff were more communicable in German, but they were getting these wrong too. So it was raising the question if they were actually listening with intention to understand what drinks we wanted. And it would sound bad, I am a female myself, but unfortunately more such incidents were pertaining to the female part of the staff. For example, I order "Still Wasser" and they ask me "Mit Gas"? Is still water with fizz? My partner orders "Apfelsaft" and he gets "Orangensaft". They don't even sound the same.
