Glenn Hotel, Autograph Collection

Expected more for an “Autograph Collection” Marriott location. Very small rooms. Breakfast choices were minimal. The burger at the “Sports Bar” was very good. Staff had no clue if I could self park and directed me to valet (imagine that). Will look elsewhere next time. Not worth the price, especially when it changes every night.

I tried to contact the GM before giving this place a bad review but I have yet to hear anything back. I asked for a suite first of all. The suite with the pretty garden tub in the pictures. I asked the rep twice that the room would look exactly like the picture and I was told yes. My coworkers even made fun of me for asking. We arrived at the hotel and it was not the room I paid for. We only had three hours to get ready and eat for our concert so my fiancé convinced me to forget about it. As we are getting ready the shower was stopped up and overflowed into the floor. The drain in the middle of the floor then bubbled up and had a dark residue with it. The sink also would not drain. I took pictures and ran downstairs to let someone know. I was even very discrete about it. Instead of being given a new room someone was sent to ours to "fix" the plumbing. Now we are really going to be late. After another thirty minutes we finally got another room to get ready in. Now we have no time to eat before the concert so I had to order 50$ room service for two hamburgers. We go to the concert and that was perfectly fine. When we got back to the hotel I asked the front desk to call me a cab to go to the store. She told me I had to go back outside to the Valet. I went back outside for ten minutes and could not find anyone. It was in the low thirties that night. I even asked some employees that were on there way out. No one would help me. I went back inside and had to plead with the front desk to help me. I finally got a cab on my own. I did not get to see the rooftop bar because of our time constraints when we arrived and the next morning it was closed. This was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. The morning we are packing to leave our television is also out. I am sorry but I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.
