Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean. We were there for the marathon it was easy to get around l was even able to walk to the start line. My kids enjoyed it. After the race they provided me with buckets of ice which was awesome for the ice bath.

Great place to stay!

We booked a luxury room and it was fantastic! great view and great space.

We had a king bed, bathtub and a shower, everyday they left us 2 bottles of compliment water.

The gym is terrific, it is very complete with 6 treadmills, if i remember correctly, 2 peloton bikes, 1 elliptical machine and 2 rowing machines, plus weights to lift, mats for yoga or stretching and basic equipment.

The check inn was very quick, you only have to leave a deposit of $350 usd if something happens to the room, if not they do not charge it at the end.

The only thing i thought it was not so nice was the room service, it was very quick but the menu is limited, i am a vegetarian so there were not many options for me, i had to try the garden burger which was okay but not great.

I would definitely stay here again since it has a magnificent location, 2 blocks away from Michigan Avenue, restaurants, etc.

We stayed here because i went to the marathon and the day of the event they had for the runners at the lobby bottles of water, bananas, apples and a delicious chocolate little bread.

I have never stayed at a Sofitel property, so I was unsure of what to expect. The hotel went beyond my expectations and made my two-night stay in Chicago a memorable one. The lobby and restaurant on the first floor was spotless and appeared to be brand new. Once I got to my room, I was treated to luxury.

Customer service was fantastic (especially Kia at the front desk and the bartenders at Le Bar). The room was clean with great views. There is complimentary coffee every morning. The hotel restaurant served great food. The location of the hotel is perfect - walking distance to the water, great restaurants and great shopping. We will definitely be back!

+ Located right in the middle of everywhere you need to be. Great location. However the pictures make the rooms appear bigger and more luxurious than they are in my opinion. Otherwise service was great, and I appreciated the complimentary water. Everyone was polite and helpful.
- I felt the rooms were smaller than they appeared on line.

- If I HAD to pick one thing, the tv doesn’t have anything other than cable, like Netflix logins or chrome cast. But that’s the worst thing I could even think of, great hotel overall!

I really like the location. The room was okay. The club lounge was okay and the breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. The staff members are very good and super friendly. I enjoyed my stay here with my workmates. This hotel is worth paying for. Thank you so much for the staff who helped us throughout the day.
