The hotel is located on Waikiki Beach Commercial Street in Oahu Island. There are many commercial restaurants around it, and it is very convenient to travel. It is about 20 kilometers to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and Hanauma Bay. It costs about $30 to take a taxi. There are also buses.
The room is large, very new, clean and tidy. It was upgraded to a sea view room, which is very good.

Even though it was located in the middle of Kalakaua Avenue, which is a great place to go anywhere, it was quiet at night and I was able to relax. Access to the beach was also good. The Hawaiian Aroma Cafe next to the pool was stylish and I enjoyed happy hour there many times. I would like to stay at this hotel again.

This is definitely the most surprising hotel in Hawaii on this trip!
First of all, it has a great location, right in the center of Waikiki, with Intl MarketPlace, Waikiki restaurants and supermarkets downstairs, basically within a 10-minute walk. The internet celebrity vintage coffee is a two-minute walk away!
Secondly, unlike Sheraton and Marriott, it does not charge a deposit, which avoids possible refund issues! Although the deposits were returned promptly when I stayed at the other two hotels, this one avoided possible problems from the root.
Third, the room is very new. It should have been renovated in the past two years. Unlike the old-fashioned American hotels in my impression, it is decorated in a tropical style and is very clean! The area is also OK. The smallest room we booked is also large enough for a 28-inch suitcase to be spread out and laid flat.
Of course, since it is not on the beach, it definitely does not have a first-line sea view. Those who like to see the sea view should not come to this hotel. But the corresponding price is also relatively low (September 2000), and tourists who focus on cost-effectiveness can pay attention to it.

The rooms were very comfortable, but smaller. It was in a convenient location. The front desk was very helpful with any questions- they even knew my name and used it when I approached the desk. The breakfast was good. The pool was on the smaller size, but it was nice because you could order food as the little restaurant was right there. The hot tub was hot and felt great!

Beautiful revamp of the hotel and clean. Unpleasant staff are: our pool experience. The front desk directed us to where the pool was with no mention of a special closure. We walked up to the pool door to see some tools and pool hours, with no visible closure signage in sight. We were joyed the pool as intended. A staff walked towards us with a walker talkie, shaking his head, and giving a negative demeanor. He informed us the pool was supposed to be closed for a video shoot and to “next time read the sign, yea?” I walked back to the entrance to checkout what the sign. Where?! We corssd paths again and I asked him where was this sign. He replied, “They moved it.” Okay, so it’s not our problem who “they” is and your sign was nowhere to be found for us to know and that even your front desk representative failed to mention the closure. Staff was a bastard insinuating we don’t read and cared less to apologize at all. Have your employees all in the same page. Maybe you need more than one sign displayed to inform your guests of inconveniences.

Nice and laid back Hotel with a beautiful garden within and direct access to a wonderful beach.
Walking connection to all other hotels and the Whalers market area. Very nicely located within the Ka’anapali Beach Ressorts.
Very suitable for families with a little kid friendly pool.
