Halekulani

This was not our first stay at Halekulani. We our annual visitors and always have a fantastic visit and feel right at home. The staff feels like extended family. Particularly the House Without A Key staff at breakfast, the pools staff and Auntie Melba who leads the Friday morning Back of the House tours. This hotel is an oasis amidst the chaos of Waikiki with direct beach access. Luxury at its finest. They were doing construction on some of the rooms so it was noisy and not as polished looking as usual while we were there and we ended up getting stuck in an elevator. This, the 4-star rating. Otherwise, this is an absolutely lovely place to stay. I highly recommend it.

From check in to our sad check out this hotel has customer service and a luxurious ambience down. Our room was beautiful, opening up to a gorgeous courtyard, pool, and ocean view. There was champagne chilling for my husbands birthday and the ice bucket was full each evening. The bed and bath were immaculate and elegant. We dined twice at House Without a Key and had a lovely dinner and sunset with fabulous live entertainment- different groups each night. We were so disappointed to leave for Maui and none of our subsequent hotels could measure up. Cannot wait to return!

This review is for House Without a Key: I came here for an after-valentine's day dinner with my girlfriend. Drinks were great, the Mai tais are really as good as they say. Food was good, perhaps a little expensive. The atmosphere was remarkable! Great view and live music made for a great time

Very magical place. We stayed at the ocean front room on our honeymoon. You'll see beautiful ocean, diamond Head, sunset, with sound of waves and birds. In the evening, they have very classy Hawaiian music and hula show at the terrace downstairs by the beach. We could hear and enjoy the music from our Lanai in the evening. It was magical. Staffs are very attentive, and makes the stay very pleasant. Bed is heavenly. Highly recommend to stay there on special occasions.

Had dinner in one of the ballrooms for a fundraising event. Dinner was great, service was excellent. Grounds are clean. Hotel is high class (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) with immaculate gardens and grounds. Restrooms are clean with bidet toilet seats. Hotel is on Waikiki beach strip, with ample shopping, restaurants and swimming. Expect to spend some money.

Met friends who were guests at the hotel for a late lunch at "House Without A Key", the Halekulani's casual dining establishment. Food & drinks were great and their service top notch!! Highly recommend dining here for any meal, especially nice as it was open for "off-hour" dining. Warm & friendly attentive staff and their moist & flavorful coconut cake is out of this world! Beautiful views of the ocean, and if you dine there in the late afternoon/evening there is very fine Hawaiian entertainment (music & hula) performed by well known local talent.

We had our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner at orchid's restaurant. It was an amazing experience and my wife was over the moon. The wait staff and chef were incredibly attentive, helpful and patient. The food was exquisite. And they really helped to celebrate our anniversary with their delicious signature coconut cake.

Sunday brunch is awesome! Even the breakfast buffet at House Without a Key is really good. This place is so quiet and serene you forget you're in the middle of Waikiki.
