Liked: The breakfast was AMAZING (even for its price of $39 per person plus 18% mandatory gratitude for our family of four). I have never seen six flavors of smoked/marinated fish, besides a large variety of ham, eggs, sausages, pastry, vegetables, cereals and high quality fruit served all at once each day in a hotel breakfast buffet. The gym was fantastic - large, exceptionally well equipped, with added dry saunas and showers. Great view from our room on 39th floor to the LA downtown and beyond. The room and the beds were comfortable. The hotel provided an extra full-sized bed free of charge!
Disliked: We were given a room on floor 39 instead of a "high floor", because ours was "unavailable" during check-in. The very nice receptionist offered me a $20 credit towards beverages at the bar (which I didn't use), and an extra pull-on bed free of charge, which I highly appreciated.
The elevator system needed to be get used to. To travel between floors you have to first go to level 70, enjoy the view and then go to your room, gym or whatever. Every time someone in the elevator grumbled about this weirdness.
The valet-only parking was $68 a day, the highest price in my experience.

Haven't even gone through my first night but already felt the urge to write this review.
Coming up to the gorgeous lobby on the 70th floor, I was not expecting my room to be ready. I was tired just out of LAX and ready to settle with sofa and cold drink. However, I was promptly given a room on the high floor and with great view as well.
Upon entering the room, I found it absolutely to my liking: modern, spacious, brightly lit with lots of power outlets and a chromecast-capable TV. The bathroom is clean and just invites you to take a shower and/or bath, the toiletries smelled so great I almost yanked the bottles off the wall :)
The bed is soft and comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean linen, so comfortable in fact that I immediately fell into a long nap without even changing my clothes :)
Upon waking up I took a quick shower and went out. The location is super convenient with a Metro station just across the street.
I could do with more condiments for the coffee and tea though, sweet tooth and all.
Now I'm ready for a real shuteye and hoping for a great breakfast tomorrow.
Already my new favorite hotel and will definitely come back here with my family.

I was so worried I would be placed on a high floor but I checked in late enough that I was place on a mid level floor. The view from the 31st floor was still amazing at night and in the morning. The valet staff was on point and helped me with anything I needed. The check in and check out process was seamless and I definitely received my incidental deposit back. So reviews stated that they never got there deposit back I was worried about that but it was no issue for me.

This is a beautiful hotel with good service. It's not as easy to find a hotel like this that has really nice view of the whole city. That said, I don't like the fact that they have so much hidden fees. I only found out upon arriving to the hotel that they charge $69 for parking (valet only) and $40 facility fee per day. That's $109 per day easily on top of the hotel rate. Also, they charge 18% service fee on all the restaurants, bars, and room service, regardless of guest count and whether you're dining in or taking to go. Everything gets 18% service charge. Lastly, because of how their valet system works, the third-party valet company will overcharge you on the fees if you come and go through out the day especially if you stay in the hotel for a long duration. To all future guests: please take note of these hidden charges before you plan your trip! I incurred about $1k on hidden charges in just a week of stay.

During my recent visit to Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel that truly captured the essence of comfort and elegance. The hotel’s beauty was immediately apparent, with its tasteful decor and inviting atmosphere. Every corner of the establishment was meticulously maintained, reflecting the high standards they uphold.
The service was exceptional; the staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests’ needs made me feel valued and well taken care of. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at the hotel for making my visit so memorable.
To anyone considering a stay in Los Angeles, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you’ll find yourself enveloped in a haven of luxury and warmth, thanks to the outstanding service and beautiful surroundings.

+ The hotel is gorgeous with lots to do! Amazing food and rooftop restaurant. Pool bars and friendly staff. I had a blast. I actually only stayed on the premises the whole time. I would recommend for vacation or business. Excellent food! I had an amazing view! They have really high floors so I recommend requesting those. The manager Duvon Collins made sure everything was amazing. His staff is so friendly and they literally make sure every part of your stay is comfortable.24.08.2022
I loved this hotel it was so beautiful. The employees were so nice always on top of everything. The beds were so comfortable the room was really clean. I liked that when we would leave we would just put a button so they could come clean it such a great idea haven’t seen that in other hotels. The view was just amazing. If you are going on a vacation make sure that you take money 😂 because we did have to pay a hold of $400 and then the parking of like 250 for 4 days. Wasn’t to bad. A lot of people say that they had trouble with the elevator going to the 70 floor then going back to their room but I liked it because no one else other than the guest could go in so I think they just do it so guest won’t be bothered by other people. Thank you for such a great experience will definitely book again!

Excellent stay so far. Highly recommend utilizing the club lounge if you're going to spend much time at the hotel itself, well worth it for the breakfast and afternoon reception. The staff are incredibly helpful, attentive and professional, proactively attending to most things before you even ask for it. Sharia, Michelle and Ling were so helpful and always friendly.
One exception was the lobby desk early in the morning. They gave us a hard time about exploring the path to an upper level despite it not being roped off. We were discussing the opening hours of another restaurant at the property when the staff member mumbled the correct hours without turning around to address us or make any eye contact. It wasn't the end of the world but it was a harsh contrast to the service from other lobby team members and the other lobby staff.
The house keeping team is super friendly and does a great job, as do the valet team and greeters.
Haven't tried Spire 73 or the high end restaurant yet. Maybe next time.
The gym is off the charts, have been enjoying it every morning. Pool area is very nice, too and hasn't been at all crowded when we've swing by to do some work while enjoying the outdoors.
Elevator system takes getting used to but is actually very efficient.
The views are amazing. It's rare to have a lobby on the 70th floor.

+ Walking distance to LA Live. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Plus Metro access is directly across the street. Pool area is small and lounges fill up quickly. And cement around pool can burn your bare feet within 5 steps. Room condition was great, just wish the windows were cleaner on the outside.30.07.2022
It’s convenient and the views are nice. For a hotel at this price point, however, they are understaffed and have no clue about hospitality. They won’t even arrange for an airport transport service, rooms are under furnished and they don’t even provide a refrigerator. I’ve stayed here before but they’ve lost their groove and many other hotels - including IHG properties - are better for customer care as well as overall amenities. Value for money simply isn’t there.
