Hotel Breakwater South Beach

Great location. Staff were good and polite. The pool is quite small but good enough for few people. Rooms are specious with good size bathroom. We were happy with our stay. One downside is that was no breakfast included in the price which should be a standard.

Very friendly staff. Welcoming lobby. Dining options abundant. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants and shops. Music plays loudly until wer hours and begins again around 8 if youre a light sleeper. Tiki Bar and Havana Restaurant are literally on steps of hotel with great food and drink optioms.
The pool was not open for 2 of 4 day stay, 4 ft deep when did open amd only 8 chairs.Parrott poop in one end of pool. Can see Ocean Drive from pool. Nice breeze. Elevators for use and very secure. Beach chair and towels provided. Breakfast voucher provided, but must walk a block or two to eat. Versace mansion. Wet Willie's, The Clevelander all steps away.
Thr best body wash and lotion from a hotel stay in a long time. The bed was very comfortable. Fridge came in handy, easy to catch Uber.

I was very disappointed that the pool was out of service for the entire weekend that we were there. It was one of the reasons that I booked this hotel. I was not happy that it was closed. It wasn't even closed for maintenance, it was closed so they could use the space to build the new lounge chairs. It was a disappointment. Other than that, the hotel was very good.

Location is perfect. Some noise from clubs in the area, but not too loud.

The room was a bit empty and lacking in character; a chair or sofa would have been great. A strong smell of cleaning products every morning after the maid's visit.

There is no toothbrush. The hotel does not provide disposable slippers. There are many restaurants around the hotel, but it is not safe at night. There are many black people. The bar is messy. Overall it is OK. There is a swimming pool but it is small.

So far so good! Incredible staff, very helpful! Spacious room with a king-size bed. Our room is at the back of the hotel and with the party on Ocean Drive at full volume it wasn't that loud. She slept lightly and had no problems sleeping.

Our stay here was amazing!! The location is great, no need to take a car because everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and the service was great. One of the workers, Willie, made our stay much better. Definitely I would stay here again. The ladies at the front desk were amazing too. The pool was very comfortable. I really liked it.
