Overall a great choice for a South Beach stay! Service was excellent, the rooftop pool is perfect, my room was spacious and the “Oh! Mexico” restaurant was outstanding. My coffee maker in the room was broken but I was able to grab a coffee downstairs and it was replaced promptly. Condition was slightly worn but well maintained, the Wish Cafe had closed early due to staffing and the pool has limited hours for deep cleaning on Tuesdays FYI. Great balance of amenities, location and value in South Beach, would stay again.
My sister and I were staying in Miami the night before catching a cruise ship. My sister's flight was delayed by three hours which started out the trip on the wrong foot. However, when we got to the hotel, they gave us an upgrade to a suite without even asking! Got us both back on the right foot!!
The only complaint was that we weren't able to use the pool - too many people taking the chairs ALL DAY.
We stayed in the other building (we asked to stay there) and the noise was really loud until 11-ish. However, for us it was OK - but I could see others not being warned about the noise and not being happy.
Domingo (concierge) went above and beyond. Excellent fellow.
Although the hotel facilities are not the newest, I think the location is really great.
The front desk staff was very warm and friendly, making our birthday trip full of surprises and joy.
