The Manhattan Club

While this hotel isn’t fancy like the plaza or brand new, it’s fantastic! Every employee was so friendly and helpful. We always felt safe and well taken care of. The room was nice with a kitchenette and almost gave us a NYC apartment living feel. The couch bed was also very comfortable and easily fit two people. We were also especially grateful to Joel’s help through our stay and upon our exit he stored our bags for us while we spent our last afternoon exploring. When it was time to go he quickly grabbed our bags and had already scheduled our taxi to the airport.
The location of this hotel was also so perfect! We almost split up our stay in an attempt to be more efficient but really with the subway stop so close by it made it a perfect location to come and go from.

Great location! Great staff! Joel was the best. He was always so helpful and was just a cool dude. They are lucky to have him. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only negative thing about this hotel is the wait for the elevator.

However, one minor drawback was the elevators, which were quite slow. While this did not significantly impact our overall experience, it is worth noting.

In summary, the Manhattan Club excels in providing outstanding service and excellent value, despite the slow elevators. The staff's dedication and the overall quality of the stay make it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting New York.

Stayed at the Manhattan club for a week and overall enjoyed my stay! Studio room was very spacious for NYC. We had a shower drain issue during our stay but it was quickly addressed and resolved on the same day by maintenance. The hotel is slightly dated (had AC/ heater but you can’t control exact temperature) but overall comfortable. Close to subway station and Central Park. There is free coffee in the lounge on 26F from 12:30-4PM. Their amenities website is unfortunately outdated and not fully accurate. The hotel is secure and has a guard for late night entrance. House keeping comes early but friendly. I think the $50+ per night resort fee is outrageous for what you get… but overall would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was awesome, in the heart of midtown a block from the park. The service was excellent. From check in to check out, every person we encountered (except one) was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little dated and the bed wasn't very comfortable. But, they were spacious and had great coffee, a small refrigerator, really nice towels.

There were only two issues:
Room issues - The adjoining door (which was locked off) let light and sound through from our rather loud neighbor. We asked to have it fixed. But, it never was. We ended up putting a blanket into the space between floor and the bottom of the door, which helped. Also, the AC / Heat controls were broken. We tried setting a temperature that was comfortable and it would run non-stop until it was so cold we'd have to turn it off. Instead of a thermostat, we had the on / off switch as our means of control.
Upstairs restaurant - We went up for a drink and a snack once. Never again. The server/bartender ignored us for about 15 minutes. Other staff came and went and NOBODY asked if we needed anything. When he finally took my order he walked away. I didn't know if he heard or if he was coming back with the bill.....so sat down. What really infuriated me was that the tip was already included on the bill when we paid.

That said, I would definitely recommend staying here for all the positives the hotel has. Just stay away from the upstairs restaurant.

The staff and their service are top tier! From the moment you get there to the moment you leave, they take care of you very well! Room is good and hotel is walking distance from everything. Only complaint is the 5+ minute wait for the elevator every time, but stairs is always there 🤷‍♂️!

Outstanding value for money with the personal touch. Especially suitable for families or those who like extra space. It may not be the newest or most renovated option in town, but it gets the basics right, is spotlessly clean, and the entire staff are beyond wonderful. Special shout out to Michael and Yamil from breakfast. All in all, it's a fantastic place, and I hope to return.

Amazing location, we could visit a huge part of Manhattan just walking around. There are also the subway lines close to the hotel, very useful to go everywhere in NewYork. The service is good and the room was cleared daily. Refurnished and ready whenever we came back! The gym was clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was essential for what you need in the morning, overall good quality. (Be careful when you book as there are two types of breakfast choices- one continental, where you can eat at the restaurant and one room, where you have to take the food away). The room was nice but the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable (good for children). One star lost for the use of plastic! Still little bottles in the bathroom instead of refill and plastic cutlery, appreciable the effort in the gym with refillable water machine. Overall 4 deserved ⭐️ and I will recommend this place
