The Florida Hotel & Conference Center in the Florida Mall

At first I was worried because of the area . But when I got there it was so beautiful, night and elegant looking. When you get inside it’s bright and beautiful. Staff is amazing. Room are very clean and the price is great. Your parking is secure by a private security company outside . I would recommend this place if your in need of a place in this area

My family and I have stayed here a few times when we went to Orlando for theme parks, and have had great experiences, with service, cleanliness, and proximity to everything. The reason I am writing this review particularly is because we rode out the last hurricane that hit Tampa here and I can’t emphasize enough how outstanding our experience was. Despite power going out all over Florida and in the neighborhood, we had all the confidence and amenities we needed. The Starbucks, restaurants, and chick fil a were all so convenient. We felt so safe and comfortable our entire stay and staff took very good care of us and our two toddlers. We will continue to come back!

We stayed here as we had to evacuate from the west coast of Florida due to a hurricane. I love that they are pet friendly. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are a nice size and updated. We were on the 7th floor and heard no wind due to the hurricane coming through the area. You could also barely tell there were a bunch of dogs staying in the hotel as well.

The only thing I wish they had were pet clean up areas to make it easier for some irresponsible pet parents to pick up after their fur babies.

But we would definitely stay here again.

The Florida Hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our VFW group. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. The hotel's convenient location attached to the mall was a major plus, providing plenty of shopping and dining options.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering a relaxing retreat after a long day of activities. We were particularly impressed with the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to providing a positive experience for our group.
If you're looking for a VFW-friendly hotel that offers comfort, convenience, and excellent service, The Florida Hotel is definitely worth considering.

I dealt with Devin who worked at the front desk and he was very pleasant. Ian/Marcelo (the doorman) also assisted us without being asked when we were departing from the hotel. We really appreciated this. However, if there is any way for there to be an option for the rooms to be cleaned at an earlier time, that would be great. The majority of our days at the hotel the cleaners reached to the room around 3pm, which was an inconvenience for us. Overall our experience was good, but the positive attitude from Devin and Ian gave you guys 5 stars.

Love this place

I had never stayed here but a corporate event was held at this location and I got the opportunity to stay. I was happily surprised with this hotel. Excellent hotel, clean large rooms, great staff and inside access to the Florida Mall. The event included lunch and breakfast both of which were very good as well. It's 5 stars from me.

This beautiful hotel is conveniently located and has an unbelievable shopping experience. The hotel lobby leads out INTO the Florida mall! The rooms have refrigerators and an AC unit that works great but there are no microwaves. The pool is small and cold. The rooms even though spacious are very outdated with chipped furniture and paint peeling from window sills. The rooms are still comfortable. Even outdated, The hotel is worth the experience.
