Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Del Coronado, and it was absolutely incredible! This beautiful resort is located on a stunning peninsula, offering breathtaking views of the ocean that took my breath away.

The hotel itself is a gorgeous blend of historic charm and modern luxury, making it a perfect getaway for both relaxation and adventure. The abundance of excellent restaurants on-site ensured that we never ran out of delightful dining options. Each meal was a treat, from casual bites to fine dining.

The atmosphere is vibrant, with many tourists around, adding to the lively spirit of the place. However, it never felt overcrowded; rather, it enhanced the experience. One of the highlights was seeing the hotel lit up in the evening—it truly transforms into a magical place, making the ocean views even more mesmerizing.

I highly recommend Hotel Del Coronado to anyone looking for a perfect vacation spot. Whether you're relaxing by the beach, enjoying delicious food, or soaking in the stunning sunset views, it’s an experience you won't want to miss.

very pretty hotel with history. there is an souvenir store inside and showing some historical videos about celebrities who were staying here, also some old pics of the hotel. quite funny. the interior is well maintained and elegant. you could spend a full day in this island visiting the hotel and nearby beach which are same awesome

Hotel is historic. There was a huge event going on during our stay, and we were not apart of it, so we were ignored by staff and much of the hotel was blocked off just for them. Would have been nice to relay this information to all guests, as I would have came a different time. We stayed in the original hotel with water view. Rooms were dated and the hallways were something out of an acid trip. It was a trip to do one time and would not need to go back based on this.

Staying at Hotel del Coronado in the winter is a magical experience. The iconic beachfront resort transforms into a winter wonderland with beautiful holiday lights and seasonal decor, creating a festive atmosphere. While it might be too chilly for swimming, the beach is still perfect for long walks, and the ocean views are just as breathtaking. The hotel offers special winter activities like ice skating by the sea, which adds a unique touch to the stay.

Even in the off-season, the service remains top-notch, and the restaurants offer delicious seasonal menus. It's the Del. That speaks for itself. Location is spectacular. It's a huge resort so expect that feel. The shore house section was amazing, modern and elegant. The cabana rooms had great views but need updating. Significant ant problem that was quickly rectified. They did a good job masking the extensive construction in the old section. Prices were what you'd expect for a beachfront resort

Beautiful, historic hotel in the beautiful setting of Coronado Island. The architecture is gorgeous. The hotel is set on a stunning beach, and is open to the public. We were touring the island, not staying at the hotel, but we felt very welcome. Parking is super expensive, but with a validated ticket and proof of having spent $50 at the hotel, you can park for $5 (not sure if that is per hour...). We found free parking on the street and walked to explore the environs of the hotel and the beach. It was time very well spent!

I did not stay here but I did walk the hotel outside and beach. It is stunning!! The property is amazing. I understand that their is a haunted room but I have not confirmed this to be true. The lobby feels very old but in a cool way. The elevator looks original. The beach is gorgeous and I would highly recommend staying here if given the chance.

I love this hotel. It has so much character to it, so many restaurants and amenities. The pool is nice, but the beach is great. There's a pizza restaurant that has pizza better than what you'll find in New York! Awesome labyrinth of shops on the lower level of the main building. Speaking of which, if you stay here, request the main building! Not only does it have soooo much character and history to it, but there's an awesome elevator operator who is so funny and nice. Overall awesome hotel!

Stayed here for meetings. Overall, a beautiful property and the food was excellent! Two meals were served on the Windsor lawn. The first at night with enough patio heaters to take off the chill. The second was lunch and what a location with a magnificent view of the Pacific ocean and the sound of waves crashing. If you get a chance, check out the Crown room. All wooden room for larger groups-an amazing structure given when it was built. Accommodations were very nice but being a very old hotel, the doorways don't accommodate taller folks by default. I took a direct hit. Heads up!

This hotel has been so well kept over the years. Absolutely gorgeous architecture! The shops inside are so adorable! We also really enjoyed the sunset bar which had great cocktails. The sand on the beach has mica in it so it glitters like gold. It's a must see if you're in San Diego!
