Location: in the centre of Borovets, 100 meters from the ski lift Sitnyakovo Express, 68 km from the airport Sofia.
Consists of one 5-storey main building and several villas.
The hotel has 120 rooms, including villas.

Iglika Hotel & Villas is located in the center of Borovets, only a 5 minute walk away from both the Martinovi Baraki Elevator and the Sitnyakovo Express Gondola.
In 2022 the hotel underwent a full refurbishment of all its rooms and common areas. All rooms offer a flat screen TV, mini-bar, kettle, coffee machine, cosmetic amenities, free WIFI and a safe.
The wellness zone is free of charge for hotel guests and includes Finnish and Herbal Saunas, Steam room, Ice Room, Swimming Pool and a Turkish Bath. Massages are available at an extra cost. During the summer months you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel has a Fitness and a Children's Club. There is also a Ski School & Rental in the building.
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast and dinner and daily lunch & dinner menu. It caters to vegetarians and can arrange gluten and dairy free options upon request.

Small and cozy hotel. The lobby bar and the restaurant are good, although one of the servers in the restaurant was not exactly professional. The SPA is also good, been there twice during my short stay. The indoors swimming pool is a bit small but the water is warmer than I expected in the good sense. The room was really good with everything I needed - good cosmetics, nespresso coffee machine, bath robes and so on. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The reception staff is excellent and willing to help for whatever we needed. I would love to come back in that hotel.

We stayed at Iglika with my group . Before leaving today, we decided to eat at their restaurant. We wanted something quick to catch our bus after so they recommended us soup or salad, so we chose the chicken soup (7.5 leva each). Unfortunately, it was extremely salty and impossible to eat, so we complained.
They offered to change it with another soup, saying it would take 5 minutes — but it actually took 20. On top of that, the new soup was charged at double the price of the first one, and they never informed us about the price difference beforehand. They just gave us the receipt in the end.
The hotel itself is fine, good location and nice rooms ,but be very careful with the restaurant. The staff there were not so polite, and the overall experience was kind of bad!

I loved the room. Almost everything in it looks new and well maintained.
The lid of the trash can was ditached and fell off everytime I opened it. I kept removing it and the cleaning staff put it back.
The cleaning staff replaced my towels every day for a week although I didn't put them on the floor. I appreciate it but I'm perfectly content with replacing them every few days.
The bathroom's design is flawed, the water from the shower flows all over the bathroom floor to the toilet. There is no room to stand when you are washing your face of brushing your teeth.
The public places in the hotel are cozy and nice.
There is a smoking problem in the hotel. They put a smoking area on both sides of the hotel enterance and when the door is open, the smoke gets inside.
The corridors often smelled of smoke.
One day the entire lobby and restaurant were stinking of smoke, they actually let people smoke inside the hotel.
The staff acts like an army. They are very strict and every request is met first with an unsatisfied look and then sometimes they comply and sometimes they don't.
The food is very good and diverse. The fruits and vegetables taste like the real thing.
The area of the hotel is just magical, nature all around, and quiet, there are no insects and hardly any animals, you barely hear a bird sing.
There are inside and outside pools, 3 saunas, but no jacuzzi.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel! The staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast—the variety was great, but the quality could be better.

The service is great,apart from small glitches in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant,however,is mediocre,and sometimes it was even bad. Only the breakfast was nice,the a la carte was not tasty,as if it was not prepared by real cooks.
We were in a bungalow,which was renovated recently. Large space,cosy rooms. Only none of the interior doors were closing.
The outdoor pool is very small and there are not enough sunbeds or umbrellas for the guests,so it is a bit of fight for both.
Not sure if we will visit again.

This is our 7th visit to Borovets We booked here instead of the Rila as it’s newly refurbished and just behind the Rila, you can cut through the back of the Rila for ski hire and slope access It’s a lovely cosy Alpine style hotel, much more relaxed and personal and the room was modern and large. We had a big bed and kids were on a pull out sofa bed ( not happy they were sharing but put up with it) the sofa bed was rock hard The food was decent and we enjoyed our Christmas Day lunch although it was late to be served as they were so busy. Good warm pool area too. Had a whole day of power cuts on resort and slopes were closed so we spent the day walking in ski suits round the forest - fabulous We have booked 2 rooms to return for Xmas this year so the kids have more privacy and we can’t wait

Was so impressed by this wonderful hotel! It was the perfect place for our family to stay whilst skiing. The decor and facilities are excellent. Comfortable and classy. The room was warm, clean and had comfortable beds, a great power shower and two balconies with fine views of the forest and slopes. The food was hearty and delicious each night varying enough to give choices of meats, salads deserts and starters. Lots of authentic Bulgarian food, think Greek for comparison. Plus standard pasta, fries and co. if you want. Breakfast similarly high quality and hot, with wide variety of meats, cheeses and breads, pastry or hot cooked breakfasts. Minor gripes: vegetarian options were available but limited and there was a very long queue for the coffee machine each morning! Drinks after skiing in the cosy bar, by the fire were nice, and the pleasant pool and sparkling were good too, a great way to unwind. Staff were helpful and attentive and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. The hotels’s setting is great: 5 mins walk to ski depot in Hotel Rila, 10 mins to slopes. 2 mins to a shop or cash point. Behind the hotel is a beautiful eco-trail through the woods down to an historic wooden church. It is lit at night. Very atmospheric. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel, and have to say genuinely couldn’t understand why anyone would ever give it less than 4-5 stars!

Excellent rooms , refurbished and the best we've stayed in Borovets. The food is also very good. The beds are very comfortable in fact so good was our stay ,we've already booked again for next year . The saunas and steam rooms are also good . We didn't use the indoor pool or ski storage so can't comment.

Super clean, super tidy! One of the more modern hotels now it’s all be refurbished! Super cosy at the bar, board games available too! Rooms were spacious , for 2 adults, all our snowboard gear etc… food wasn’t amazing but we were eating out every night anyway. Not sure why people are slaying this hotel, everyone I know says it’s great? We loved it and so did our friends. Seems some people are extremely fussy and want 10/10 5* perfection. This hotel has everything you need.

We visited for our first time ever skiing and had the best time! Hotel Iglika is a modern style clean hotel with nice spa and saunas, which is lovely after day of skiing. Food was average nothing very special- not bad but not amazing. Dining hall was always very busy and we found staff rather rude as we rarely got asked if we wanted a drink with dinner and generally not very friendly. One day our room was left open, however, by cleaners which we weren’t very impressed with. The bar in the lobby is lovely and cosy and rather cheap for a drink- we went here most nights :) Overall a nice modern clean hotel close to the slopes.
