This beach near Festa Pomorie Resort is known as "The First beach" in the New Town of Pomorie. It is very suitable for small kids because it is shallow-water and really warm! However, it is more stifling here compared to the other beaches - the second and the third.

July 2025 The hotel is OK, staff are not chatty or particularly helpful. Smoking is a real issue here, we wanted to sit outside for our meals but there were a lot of people who smoked, even in the rooms i woke up one morning and could smell smoke in the room, i went out in the corridor and it stank. There are two pools, the busy one closest to the hotel ( this is because it serves cocktails and beers...

We had literally the best stay here. We stayed at Festa Via Pontica for a few days and really enjoyed it. The staff at the reception were super friendly and always ready to help - it made a great first impression. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned regularly during our stay, which we really appreciated. It just felt easy and relaxing. The location is great too - close to the beach and perfect for a summer getaway...

Just got home after staying 7 nights here with the family and it was an amazing holiday. Literally covered everything we need from nice rooms great food and great selection of drinks and snacks. All the staff work so hard and especially the entertainments team (Peter, Hrizz, Lea, Stefan, Yoni, Natali) who really made our holiday special with fun amd games and dancing. They always go above and beyond...

Have just come back from an absolute amazing time at Festa Via Pontica. The whole place was so clean. The linen in our room was changed every other day including clean towels ! Beds available at any time by the pool or beach. The bar staff were friendly and more than happy to make cocktails ! Food was decent...a bit limited at times, but was better than most. The wine tasting night was a nice...

Amazing staff, location, food. Swimming pool and steam room were amazing as well as the massages. I really enjoyed the face massage in the beauty room, went 2 times, had goosebumps the whole time!

We used the Sauna different days and it’s so good;small though and might fit in max. of 4 people. (Please,to all using the sauna:educate yourselves on what you can wear inside the sauna. Sauna is meant to detox you with high dry heat so anything you wear into it ,will be baked including those plastic wears and then you inhale them. Very well located hotel, breakfasts were a bit boring and confined in small room.. small variety of bread (lack of dark bread), staff is very friendly, smily and helpful. The main problem were cockroaches in the room which were present every day - obviously hotel has issues with this insects but no one seems to do anything about it.. becasue of that, i would not return to this hotel..

We only went to the skybar and didn't stay overnight in the hotel. The view of the sea and the city is beautiful while you enjoy your cocktails.

We stayed in Penelope Palace, Pomorie for a week in mid June. First impressions were very positive. We were met at the taxi by a porter who took our luggage to reception and then to our room. We were pleasantly surprised that the room/apartment was so spacious. It was immaculately clean and tidy, as was the whole hotel. There was complimentary tea/ Coffee. We truly enjoyed the restaurant. The chef creates an incredibly delicious menu and the service is top notch.

We went early June so I had a great time in the pool by myself and loved the easy access to the beach. To get around I recommend using the nearby bus where you can buy tickets to central Pomorie for 1.5 leva and 4 leva to Burgas, purchase tickets on board using cash. Although my list of negatives is longer, the good far outweighs the bad and I would happily stay here again, although probably would...

We didn’t stay here, but used the restaurant twice. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. Was beginning to think all Bulgarians were rude after our experience at Via Pontica Hotel but staff at the restaurant at Penelope Palace have shown me otherwise. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Pomorie.

Room was big clean and spacious with modern amenities. Beds very comfortable. Wi-Fi very good. International TV channels via satellite. Balcony was clean and spacious with views over The Black Sea. Pool was very clean with a lot of sunbeds. Staff from the breakfast and reception very friendly and welcoming. On Saturday evening it was held a party at the hotel and the music could be heard until 1 AM...

There are not enough parking spaces for all guests (and parking is hell in Pomorie). Rooms are fine but the studio I paid like an apartment was a standard double room with a chair-bed. Other than that it is quite cozy.

This is an aparthotel. It can be seen new or after repair, everything is clean and new. Located in the central part of the old town, good location, the sea is a step away from the beach, near a supermarket, cafe, fruit market. Everything is very comfortable in the apartment, new modern furniture, in the bedroom there is a large comfortable bed, in another room there is a kitchen with a dining table...

Apartment with two bedrooms. Impressions are ambiguous. Pros: a huge terrace where you can relax, large room area, 200m to the sea, low price (280 € 7 nights). Cons: poor state of repair, air conditioning not cleaned for years, shower right next to the toilet, no curtains on the windows, bed and towels with stains. Microwave, hair dryer, toaster, oven declared at the time of booking are not available...

Nice facilities,rooms,great food and service. The parking is paid and bring your own beach umbrellas (not enough). A lot of people from Poland, Ukraine and Czech Republic.

First time visiting this complex. Amazing place. Great pools, bars and restaurants. Everything you might need is available on-site. Next year we will be back for sure!

The first time I have been to marina cape was at 2009 and I love it ... One of the best hotels in the area, with clean spacious rooms, good service and perfect sea view!

I stayed for 3 days and as a weekend getaway I actually didn't hate it. It's a nice resort that's kind of remote but still close to a few restaurants and shops. It caters nicely for tourists, the staff speak a few languages in order to make communication between them and guests easier. The resort itself has a few shops, a gym, a barber and a restaurant. Very nice, cosy and quite place. Perfect for children. The rooms are clean and the pools are excellent. The food is nothing special, but that is a small disadvantage that I personally do not care much about. I recommend the place for a quiet and relaxing vacation. One last thing, very friendly staff! Which, unfortunately, is a rare thing nowadays.

Stayed in an adjacent property, but got lost when we arrived, staff very friendly and helpful, had dinner in the property a few nights later, staff very friendly and good food, my son even got a complimentary ice cream, not needed, but in line with their customer friendly approach, good place and very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel is gigantic in terms of buildings and outside area. A total of 6 massive buildings makes the hotel seem like a giant. But this also makes the area feel spacious and not crowded at all. Our stay at the Sunset Resort was a mixed bag. Our 3 bedroom apartment was spacious clean with a beautiful sea view. Maid service daily. We absolutely loved our time at this hotel. Chek-in was very quick. We arrived early in the afternoon, so we had a couple of hours to wait before we could access our room. Wow - where to start? Put simply - if you want a top quality hotel with great food/drinks and amazing staff then this is the place for you. Absolutely nothing to fault - it's that good. The natural mud bath and salt lake by the sea was a hidden gem. A bonus was the 12 minute journey from Borgas airport.

Great hotel! We had a fabulous family maisonette with was great with our 3 children aged 7-9. Food was lovely, room and hotel environment were clean. Great swimming pools and a really nice snack restaurant at the pool. The entertainment team was absolutely superb! Kiko and his team were doing a fantastic job to make our holiday memorable! The best healing massage ever! I had a back pain because I work a lot with a computer. I did not believe that massage can help. I was wrong. Irina was my massage therapist and she did an amazing job.
