The property is old and bad maintenance, bright , no relaxation in the massage room, good massage but no customer service, you have to leave a deposit for towels, bad quality ropes and towels, bar and restaurant old. Great location closed to the beach. The mud bath smells and looks like a hospital. It is not too expensive considering the U.S. prices but is very closed. They charge after purchasing a service they charge to use the spa area. Which is dirty. And wet everywhere. Dangerous for walking. And no tranquility. Is loud. Nothing is included. Not even a good lemon water or cucumber ? No tea or coffee included. That's not what I've expected. Don't think I will be back.

Our favourite place that was continuously damaged year after year.
Initially, everything was so so beautifully selected from the bedding, linen and so on to the tiniest detail.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the hotel has no comparison to what it was years ago.
Floor carpets full of stains, dirty, beds and linen, including bath robes and towels, dirty and worn out, terrible condition of bathrooms. Showers don't operate from above in the room, just from the bottom, you have to kneel down so you can have a shower.
Reception ladies are rude and have no patience to do their job, I don't want to go in more details.
The last comment, the sign for the hotel doesn't work, only the first 3 letters so it's not hotel Pomorie but hotel "Rom".

The best healing massage ever! I had a back pain because I work a lot with a computer. I did not believe that massage can help. I was wrong. Irina was my massage therapist and she did an amazing job. I feel like I re-born after 30 min back massage.
Irina said “here I see your computer work” but I even did not tell her that I work with a computer! I was amazed how she detect where my problem is. And she fixed it. I feel amazing now, no pain and straight back! I bought the package of 5 massages and will do it in a future again :)

The SPA managed was super friendly and helpful; helped me reschedule my appointments and suggested the correct timing for the best experience.

Also, waiter (don’t know his name) was friendly, always smile and that makes you feel very welcomed in the hotel, and makes your experience more positive. I wish all waiters were like him

Most of the staff are kind and welcoming. A lot of them speak English that makes stay much easier if you don’t know Bulgarian (like me).

The hotel is not perfect, you can read it from another reviews. But just keep in mind, not like in other hotels, you are not only relax here but you become healthier! If you will do at least the package of massages, you will leave the hotel as a different person - younger and healthier

The manager should be kind to the customers, help to be polite .. In this hotel, Nina Kondova, was aggressive and unhelpful.. Because of her behavior, you don't feel good in this hotel.. The food is terrible, old .. Cockroaches and ants in the room...horror!! Very low level of service!

Had a lovely 5 nights here. Bedrooms huge and had X2 small double beds as singles. Fabulous seaview from the balcony. Buffet breakfast and dinner had a huge selection and there is something for all. Desserts were amazing. We got the names of everyone we were served by which was much appreciated. Easy walk across the bridge directly onto the beach. The pool areas were spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet for such a large hotel. Never a problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day. Only used the jacuzzi in the spa but found it very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Great place and great service! Really loved the Holiday Program, the live music, and the bands! Also quite nice is the SPA Area with salt water.

One night stay at beginning of the Bulgarian adventure. Staff were great, very helpful and welcoming (although not particularly smiley). Good value for money - breakfast included and had the biggest variety of food I've come across for a 'continental' breakfast... Again, waitresses could possibly smile more, very straight sombre faced. The spa was lovely with a 'rain walk' and 'salt pool' which you could float in and totally de-stress. Sauna not hot enough, maybe make the seating higher or lower the ceiling!!
Overall a very good night's sleep in a wonderful comfortable bed, waking up to look out over the sea.
Not sure I'd want to stay more than a couple of days/nights in this hotel but happy with the experience

If you love the Black Sea, plump juicy incredible tomatoes, and cleaning up your own hotel room after the supposed cleaning staff does god knows what in there, this is the place for you! It’s unfortunate to have to juggle abject hostility towards tourists and the endless frustration of dealing with a willfully negligent hotel staff while trying to enjoy an otherwise marvelous country. No discouragement here, just plan ahead to mitigate every potential inconvenience and don’t take it personally that they treat everyone terribly regardless of where they’re from.

This place turned out to be an absolute dump for which we paid 800BGN for 2 nights (about £350). It looked like it was last renovated 30 years ago. In no particular order: the hallways had strange old smell; the wallpaper in our room was peeling off; the aircon wasn't working; the shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor and the drain wasn't working; pipes were rusty; safety deposit box wasn't working and to top it off there was mosquito infestation (it's not an exaggeration, check the photos); the food was tasteless and dull. Everything was depressed and tired, including the staff (who sometimes didn't speak English).

In short the "Grand Hotel Pomorie" is managed by very incompetent and lazy group of people. You are better off staying in a cheap hostel – it'll probably be better maintained.

Came back because we liked it the first time. The reception staff were very unwelcome and indifferent. The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. The spa is in terrible condition. The saunas are with destroyed wood flooring and benches because everybody goes inside with slippers... Also people are not using towels to sit on... Rust and stains are everywhere... Terrible parking situation.
