I have visited the SPA before and was alright. We decided to stay there for a night after landing in Burgas… what a mistake… This is an outdated memory of a 5* hotel with not particularly friendly or professional reception team and would not return or recommend it to anyone.

Rude receptionist and poor guest service. Spa pool was dirty and neglected, but the massage was great and the girl was very nice.The hotel doesn't really care how staff behave and if you will come back or recommend the hotel to someone else at all.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. What was once a 5-star hotel has now become a mediocre 3-star hotel in need of serious repair and renovation. The luxury junior suite we booked hoping for a pleasant stay turned out to be - as you can see from the photos - an old and dirty hotel room that had long lost its luster it had 20 years ago. Rotten door frames, dirty faded carpet, peeling wallpaper, a bathroom with mold, dirty torn curtains. Oh my goodness!!! Service: the hotel is preferred for its spa center, which offers mud baths and lye treatments - yes, but no. They are offered only after examination by a doctor - yes, I understand, I agree. But where is the "hotel doctor" who can examine us so that we can be admitted to the desired procedure? He has been gone for two days... one day he left, the second day he was an hour late and in a hurry... Oh my goodness! This is called 5-star service. Due to peculiarities in our diet, we preferred the option without dinner included. Great, the hotel has a restaurant. Yes, but no - there is no option to order in the restaurant. At the entrance they tell you that it is not working and you can only have dinner there at a buffet for an additional fee... Okay, I agree and accept it, but please don't mislead users. Overall, avoid this place unless you are determined to test your patience or are taking an "anger management" test.

The property is old and bad maintenance, bright , no relaxation in the massage room, good massage but no customer service, you have to leave a deposit for towels, bad quality ropes and towels, bar and restaurant old. Great location closed to the beach. The mud bath smells and looks like a hospital. It is not too expensive considering the U.S. prices but is very closed. They charge after purchasing a service they charge to use the spa area. Which is dirty. And wet everywhere. Dangerous for walking. And no tranquility. Is loud. Nothing is included. Not even a good lemon water or cucumber ? No tea or coffee included. That's not what I've expected. Don't think I will be back.

Our favourite place that was continuously damaged year after year.
Initially, everything was so so beautifully selected from the bedding, linen and so on to the tiniest detail.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the hotel has no comparison to what it was years ago.
Floor carpets full of stains, dirty, beds and linen, including bath robes and towels, dirty and worn out, terrible condition of bathrooms. Showers don't operate from above in the room, just from the bottom, you have to kneel down so you can have a shower.
Reception ladies are rude and have no patience to do their job, I don't want to go in more details.
The last comment, the sign for the hotel doesn't work, only the first 3 letters so it's not hotel Pomorie but hotel "Rom".

My review to Kirill Valkanov, Hospitality Manager? Dear Kirill , thank you for to have us and organised our Holiday,We are very impress with excellent location, History of Hotel. Staff working very hard, super clean all area. Reception in Spa area very professional, friendly.Spa is brilliant with good treatment facility. Mad treatment, lugotreatment , massage by Niccky, Yury, Bogdana are very good. But no yoga, no stretchy, no music at all as the promised in description.Please update service. Please give advice to Reception staff be more friendly, give more information. Ivan is the Best, he must teach them. But Hotel very boring, no music, no life at all Please improve and update

The best healing massage ever! I had a back pain because I work a lot with a computer. I did not believe that massage can help. I was wrong. Irina was my massage therapist and she did an amazing job. I feel like I re-born after 30 min back massage.
Irina said “here I see your computer work” but I even did not tell her that I work with a computer! I was amazed how she detect where my problem is. And she fixed it. I feel amazing now, no pain and straight back! I bought the package of 5 massages and will do it in a future again :)

The SPA managed was super friendly and helpful; helped me reschedule my appointments and suggested the correct timing for the best experience.

Also, waiter (don’t know his name) was friendly, always smile and that makes you feel very welcomed in the hotel, and makes your experience more positive. I wish all waiters were like him

Most of the staff are kind and welcoming. A lot of them speak English that makes stay much easier if you don’t know Bulgarian (like me).

The hotel is not perfect, you can read it from another reviews. But just keep in mind, not like in other hotels, you are not only relax here but you become healthier! If you will do at least the package of massages, you will leave the hotel as a different person - younger and healthier

The manager should be kind to the customers, help to be polite .. In this hotel, Nina Kondova, was aggressive and unhelpful.. Because of her behavior, you don't feel good in this hotel.. The food is terrible, old .. Cockroaches and ants in the room...horror!! Very low level of service!

Had a lovely 5 nights here. Bedrooms huge and had X2 small double beds as singles. Fabulous seaview from the balcony. Buffet breakfast and dinner had a huge selection and there is something for all. Desserts were amazing. We got the names of everyone we were served by which was much appreciated. Easy walk across the bridge directly onto the beach. The pool areas were spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet for such a large hotel. Never a problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day. Only used the jacuzzi in the spa but found it very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

The hotel is big, but it has not been renovated for a long time. Many things are old, rusty. The robes are not replaced, and they are also rather shabby looking. The water in the pools is dirty and in the winter season they are not enough. And past the various facilities, you step into water, which is wiped quite rarely. The lifeguard is the person who distributes the towels in the spa. You pay in advance for the hotel upon arrival. Only the food is nice and varied and they have chefs who prepare pasta and roast meat on site.
