Festa Via Pontica

We were greeted warmly when we arrived, we were earlier than check in time but were able to use the dining room while we waited. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Great powerful shower with instant hot water, shampoo and body wash supplied . Air con and mini fridge with some free goodies. TV has a couple of English channels but one is dubbed with Polish. Balcony was large and we were provided with an airer for wet swimwear and towels. Cleaners come round daily if you want your room cleaned, towels available everyday on request. We went all inclusive and the food was standard with grill cooking each night. Fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, breakfast items, salads and cooked foods available along with desserts and tea, coffee and bar. There are 2 bars in the lobby, although not many seats for the amount of guests. Drinks are standard local beer, no non-alcoholic options but mocktails and soft drinks readily available as well as hot drinks. All inclusive lets you book an a la carte meal once a week, this was served in the wine cellar and was a nice experience. You are served a number of wines and the host tells you about the wines and the history of the winery. Pool areas are clean and maintained, 3 fresh water pools with a smaller children’s pool, cold but once you’re in it’s fine! BBQ restaurant and bar around the pool area. There’s an indoor heated pool in the spa area, which offers treatments at an extra cost. Games area for kids, entertainment staff through the day and night. Nighttime entertainment is generally bingo, quizzes or shuffleboard. There was a Bulgarian folk dancing night as well. There’s not much to do around the hotel, the beach is 5 minutes walk away and there’s a great restaurant on the beachfront on the right past Penelope Palace. There’s also a beach bar. You can get a bus if you walk about 10 minutes from the hotel that takes you to Nessebar and Sunny Beach - the number 10. There’s also a number 1 just outside Sunset Resort that takes you to Pomorie Old Town. There’s a supermarket behind the hotel which sells everything from water to suncream and next door is the Dublin Bar but this wasn’t open until later in June. All in all a good holiday, nice and relaxing and everything you need to chill and enjoy your break.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The rooms are nice and clean, and the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming! The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the dining - special thanks to Chef Kamilarov, whose culinary creations were delicious- each meal was a true work of art! The service was equally exceptional! Aneliya - guest relations made us feel genuinely careful for, always available with a warm smile and helpful insight to enhance our stay. Thanks to the entire team for making our visit unforgettable- especially Beka, the waiter Mitko, the bartenders Ani! The lady that works in the spa is wonderful as well! They're great! And a special thank you to Petar the head animator who made sure to put a smile on our face and kept us entertained and In a mood! We will definitely recommend!

The hotel was just like the photos on the internet, we were not expecting them to be as good but we were pleasantly surprised.We were greeted by the lovely Aneliya who is the guest relations Manager She was so friendly throughout the trip and we cannot thank her enough for going above and beyond. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the staff, especially Anelilya.

On arrival the hotel was more than we expected fromjust looking online. The Food choices were good, with lots of variety. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive and happy to help. Aneliya -Guest Relations Manager was the 1st happy smiling face we saw when we entered the hotel. Aneliya made us aware of what was happening in the hotel in including wine tasting/al le carte meal evening- Which was an amazing night. During our stay Aneliya was always a pleasure to speak to, she ensured that we had got the most out of our stay. Big thanks to Aneliya and all the other staff.

Overall the hotel was fine, clean and staff were extremely friendly. We arrived at around 22.30 and had to come up the lift which I knew about because of the previous reviews. The problem we had was when we got out of the lift there were no lights on in the courtyard leading to the reception. It was very dark and had to wait to adjust our eyes, there were steps which we could easily have fallen over (me especially) luckily there was a ramp to the side. Night porter was great, took us straight to our room and informed us the bar was closing in 20 minutes so managed to get a drink :-) or three!! Food was mediocre and not a lot of changes. They did have a guy cooking various meats etc which I would presume would be fresh but he was making such a large batch that they were going cold very quickly. I think for breakfast it would have been nice to have fresh eggs to order. We missed the al a carte night as it was a Sunday and we only arrived on the Saturday, one guest says it was great and another said not so much. As for the location, I found it really sad that there are some beautiful buildings around but none of them were open and weeds growing as if not been seen to for years. We did try to walk around but there was nothing. If you want to eat out try Penelope Palace just before you get to the beach, extra special or try Tnopyc which is just a little futher down, just follow the dirt track, absolutely lovely guys. Pomorie itself is not worth going too to be honest. Taxi's are the way to go and if you ask the reception to book you one they send there own taxi and he will give you his card to pick you up again, the taxi's that are available will try to charge you more. Nessebar is 60 Lev but well worth a visit, beautiful old town. I would stay in the hotel but was saddened by the other business's around :-(

Our family trip at Festa Via Pontica was one for the books! The hotel had just opened its doors for the upcoming season and everyone and everything was fully ready and excited! We made friends, from the valet to the bartender all the way through to the lovely Aneliya, who made sure our stay exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the hotel, Pomorie and make sure you meet Ani - she will surely welcome you with a smile!

After my 4th stay at the Festa Via Pontica I thought it’s about time to leave a review as to why The hotel is fabulous. Bright, fresh, modern and clean. Older parts are a little tired but this doesn’t take away from the overall effect. Still well maintained though. Pools are clean, chilly, but always space to get round them. Beach is less than one minutes walk. Indoor pool and other spa treatments are all good too The team are always friendly and smiling. Always happy to help. Sofia and Aneliya have done a good job getting their team together. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They are also good at remembering previous guests. I feel like a person and not a credit card with both Sofia and Aneliya. The hotel is lucky to have these 2 The wine cellar is spectacular. So much history. If you miss it, you’re missing out on a little gem Food is mostly OK. Can be a bit ‘hit and miss’ at times. Get in early to get the best bits Pomorie as a town is lovely. The old town is around 2km walk from the hotel. Plenty of bus stops though. It’s also worth a visit to Nessebar (Old town) while in the area I’ll be booking my 5th stay soon

The hotel is clean, modern, and perfectly located just a short walk from the beach. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area are great for relaxing, and the on-site winery is a lovely bonus. Highly recommended for both families and couples! We had an amazing holiday and will definitely come back!

Too early in the season. Nothing open locally but hotel staff brilliant rooms always clean. Food not always the best but even I a fussy eater didn't go hungry. No drink is off all inclusive. We had a wine 🍷 tasting evening with a la cart 3 course meal.(4 different choices) best experience of the whole week. Well done to Nicolay , Atanas and everyone involved sorry don't know all names. The lovely lady on reception who made my husbands day when she brought him a bottle of wine 🍷 for his 60th birthday as she had noticed off our booking.
