Good to stAy for budget travellers,cannot expect too much for the price

Pop Bogomil was awesome, not if youre looking for a nice fancy hotel, but if you're looking for something for a party weekend it's perfect! Nice and cheap,with its own apartment complex out the back!! Highly recommended

Unfortunately, it has serious problems with cleaning, neither the sheets nor the towels were changed for 3 days, and when we ran out of shampoo and toilet paper, we had to go and ask for it ourselves, even though there was only 1 small package of shampoo

So moral of the story: bring your own towels but other than that I can recommend this hotel because of very cheap prices and amazing staff. They even woke us up and called a taxi for us to get to the airport

But in the morning there is a full breakfast with loads of food to choose from, all included. Perfect for chilling and meeting people, little less if u just want to sleep and have a night rest

Hostelworld some how cancelled our booking, but I didn't receive any notification. When six of us arrived there, they really made a big effort to host even do we didn't have a reservation

Nice place if you want to meet people and have a couple of drinks in the bar! Good atmosphere. The beds where terrible though, could feel the springs all the way through

A place where where you can find new friends or spent unforgettable time with yours. It's always fun for me to be there.

A nice cheap place to stay. Brilliant location

Nice little haven to chill and get a bite. They have s great variety of teas, as the name indicates. Staff ist friendly and helpfull, food is tasty and healthy. They have fast WiFi. I like this place

Very delicious food and a great variaty of teas. Has vegan and gluten-free options - marked well in the menu :) The waiters are nice, and the atmosphere is great

Good food but not the meat kind. Prices high. Live music occasionally. But never ask staff about medicine, science or worldviews. Fits the label 'alternative'

Otherwise the city center can be reached in just two metro stops, for like $1/€1. There are a few small corner stores right next door, and a proper grocery store not even a five minute walk

It's quite a long walk though to reach the central area, but overall happy with the place

Kitchen was small but well equipped. Staff were super pleasant and spoke good English. Location is ideal if you’re taking a bus or train out of town, as those stations are next to each other about a 5 minute walk away

I really appreciated that level of trust. The 3 bedroom apartment is also amazing. A bit warm ( only 1 Aircon at the moment, but the bedrooms are prepared for more ) but beside that it was absolutely amazing

The manager is extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. Due to circumstances we had to switch our place to stay, and she let us in remotely so we could take a look and not even know who we are

They have a five star rating for a reason. My room was immaculate, with new furnishings including a very nice memory foam mattress. Also an in-unit washing machine and a huge balcony with a screen door

The room we booked was clean and spacious and also came with free water and croissants for breakfast which is virtually unheard of at that price point. Would 100% recommend to all travelers visiting Sofia!

We booked for 3 beds room just for a night. The room was clean, warm and quiet. The owner friendly and helpful. The spot is very central which means that you can see many things by walking

I don't give 5 stars because the wc wasn't so clean. Also when i made the reservation the prescription of the hostel was saying that they provide free transfer from/to airport. Otherwise is a good choice for a sort stay

A very pleasant hostal in an excellent location. It has no on site staff but the owners are very helpful and quick to respond if you have any queries. The front door is on the main street next to a coffee kiosk.

The overall ambience is ok, the rooms & bathrooms are neat and tidy, however when I rang to ask for directions (I was nearly there, just couldn't see the entrance), nobody picked up

It has everything but at an "OK" level. Basic I would say overall but a bit pricey for what you get in return. I guess it's the price you have to pay if you want to be close to the rail station!

Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close)

It was a nice experience. I met people all the world, in the hostel, they are so friendly. The location is amazing, and you can walk around and see a lot of things.

Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected

The best and cheap place in the center of the Capital of Bulgaria. Everything is near. I'll come again.

Go for a premium dormitory where it isn’t not smelly and comes with Curtain to block the lights. Does not turn on the heat in late October but is ok once sleeps in Shared toilet and shower if the entire floor

Best atmosphere ever. Went for 3 days and stayed a month Great lounge room, friendly staff and clean space. Very very close to the center & the Serdica metro station! Addicted to it 💘

Had a great stay. Super welcoming hosts. The ambience is relaxed. The bath & kitchen amenities are available 2 areas of improvement- the mattress could be better, and the air conditioning could be made more available

Great location, simple and clean place. You van walk to the center or use the Metro. (Only 2 minutes walk from the hostel). The hostel is nearby the train/bus station. Nice tot book some trips or go further

Ivo is the best host we ever had. You feel at home in Alegra Hostel. Breakfast is great with croque monsiers, eggs, bacon, cheese, fruits etc! It's very close to train station and close to tram, bus and metro

The owner is a verry nice man who will help you where he can and have a lot of information. I Will realy recommend this place tot other travellers!!!

Lovely place with a great american cook :D Worth the money you pay. The breakfast is diverse and tasty. There are mixed showers per floor. You have a locker in the lobby for only 1€ which you get back.

We are a spanish group, and this was one of best experience in an hostel in a travel. Staff people are amazing and the atmosphere too. THANK U for everything dudes. See u again

The Hostel is okay, the employees are friendly. It gives a simple breakfast, included the price. Only one point is against the Hostel: unrespectful guests

If each guest is silent between 23:00 to 08:00, then the Hostel is for the price 6 Stars
