Very nice hotel and spa experience in Velingrad. Would say 4-star hotel, not quite 5star standards but very good.
Two large pools and good hot tub and sauna options. Playroom for children, billiards and games.
Buffet food was good, not the best ever but good for a buffet.
Massage and therapy options are amazing. The therapist is very good and can provide numerous treatments. Relaxation massages are also very good.

Great hotel. Great service! Top location near the river and right next to the big forest. Perfect view and surrounding. Quiet place, without any noise from anywhere. We where able to hear the birds singing and the water from river float. Clean and hot waters in every swimming pool and jacuzzi. We where there for 3 nights, and my kids loved it so much. We have a hard time to leave. The kids cry when we started to pack the bags, they wanted to stay more.......The food in the restaurant was amazing. Many choices and very delicious. We will come back for a longer vacation there very soon! Definitely recommend the hotel to all kind of guests, especially families with kids!!!

Honestly the worst 5* Hotel ive ever stayed in. I dont quite understand who gave them this 5 stars? The location is nice, but our apartment was next to a street with lots of train/car noise. The three ladies at the reception were very unpleasnt, never smiled once. Thats a first no go for a 5* Hotel. After i complained that several things in the apartment are not working, the lady just starred at me with no reaction whatsoever. Rooms are very unpleasently styled. Toilett seat was broken, the sink pipe was also dropping, one of the socket didnt work, the fridge was anything but cold. Everything looked like a cheap Motel in the USA. I was very shoked, cuz on the other hand the pictures on the website are well made. The only nice thing was the outdoors, the garden. They spent for sure a lot of money on the outside looks. The food is also very far away from a 5*. Than the cherry on the top was when we had a very loud music playing during dinner. Thats was very annoying. The pool was ok, bit durty. Lots of the lying chairs outside were broken and the gras quality was awlful. So, please people, choose another hotel.

Rooms are great, facilities are ok and clean, although if the hotel gets full I'm not sure how it will handle the guests (pools are crammed with about 20-25 people). Staff is polite. Very close to Velingrad south train station, but sadly with no safe passage for pedestrians - no sidewalk. Away from the city center, so plenty of fresh air. The only problem is the price, but.... sadly 5* doesn't mean all that much. I'd rather say it's a very good 3* star hotel. I liked it and probably would return at some point. Breakfast is poor, but dinner is great and tasty.

I stayed there in 2018 and 2019 and I was about to stay there in 2023, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned! However, I'll never forget about this great place that's always made my holiday better! It's located outside of Velingrad in a quite and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and mountains with a bus stop right in front of the hotel connecting it to the town! When it comes to the convenience, there's a lot I can say! No matter the type of the room, you'll always have breakfast and dinner both at a big buffet with huge diversity of food! There's also a lunch option, but it's paid separately! There are two big pools and one for kids! Also, there's a gym and medical centre where you can examine yourself before trying the SPA centre! Rooms are wide, cozy and have electric kettles along with some tea bags available! I'm not gonna talk about the minibar containing all kinds of snacks! Overall, it's a perfect place for everybody wanting to take some rest away from urban noises! Totally recommend!

Not a 5 star hotel.
Receptionists can't communicate in English. One of them doesn't speak at all. The other hardly does.
But the most annoying thing is that they seemed like they didn't want to provide any service. I was waiting for 10 minutes in a changing room for a towel (we went there for massage and spa). The towels were not in good condition. The sauna didn't have water to throw on the rocks...the place was giving the impression of not being very clean. The one jacuzzi was not making bubbles.
As for the massage, Yuko is an amazing masseur, but he doesn't speak a word in English either.
However, I feel very grateful for his service because he put all his energy, and he tried to communicate with me via Google Translate.
I wish all the money we gave to that hotel were going only to Yuko the masseur. At least my partner gave him a tip, too.

The hotel and the SPA was great, clean large rooms, food was okay but restaurant service sucks! Still the hotel is above average and deserve to be be visited.

Not a 5-star hotel. Perhaps it was one when it was built, but it’s rather outdated and lacks amenities required for a 5-star hotel. Shower was broken and rather old, the fridge did not work, even the non-smoking area of the bar is very smokey. The location on the other hand is great! They would either have to downgrade to 3 stars and lower the prices, or renovate the hotel and expand the Spa and then it could be a great 5-star hotel. There is a lot of potential, but work needs to be done.
