I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and I can honestly say I’ll never stay here again. Makronissos as a place is so beautiful and peaceful but the village apartments is far from that. We booked this resort after reading the reviews and how great they were. Feel like we’ve stayed in a completely different place. First of all, when we arrived we was given a stuff room on the ground floor, even though we paid for an upgrade with a balcony and a bigger room. When we complained we were told they couldn’t move us, after going back to the room we found 3 cockroaches, 2 in the kitchen and 1 on the bed. After going back and forth to reception after the 3rd time they agreed to give us a temporary room. We were moved into the room that we actually paid for the next day and everything was fine. Our maid was absolutely loverly, so friendly cleaned the apartment spotless, can’t remember her name think it might have been coola, she wore a cute bucket hat. Pool area is nice and the staff in the bar/restaurant are very friendly. Shoutout to George who was the most friendly of them all. Pool is extremely warm, not sure if this is something they can fix so wont hold them to that. We ended up going to the beaches around us most of the time, the bus stops are very close and buses are very cheap. Food in the resort isn’t the best and it’s not exactly cheap either. However, the entertainment some nights was good, Elvis was funny. To top off the holiday, when we asked for late check out (which was one of the reasons we booked the holiday village) we were told we couldn’t have it, “too full”, but the place has been empty since we got here🤷🏽‍♀️ Feel like every time we “bothered” them with something we got told no… no… no. Overall, had a good holiday when we wasn’t in this place. If you do end up staying here, going to the beach over the road is your best bet.

Stayed here a few times around 20yrs ago, was always good. This time was no exception, wonderful pool and the 1 bedroom suite we had was excellent, basic, but very good. Very pleasant colleagues all around the holiday village, no complaints. We normally stay in AyiaNapa centre now, but just had a quick, short notice break at a great price. Although it is a few kilometres out of the centre there are still excellent bars and restaurants near and some fabulous beaches.

Currently on my last day here , I do not want to go home.... Hotel is lovely & clean. Plenty of sunbeds always available Food at the bar is great. All the staff are so friendly and hardworking. We asked for late checkout, which we have & it's free!!! I've never been to a hotel where late checkout is free. Bus stop a 2 min walk away, and is 2 euros to go anywhere, it's a bit out the way the hotel but with the bus service, easy to get anywhere. Recommend the 'Black Pearl' boat trip. Makronisos beach is a 10 min walk & is lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel were some of the friendliest, most helpful and loveliest people we have met. Couldn't do more to make your holiday! Whether it was local recommendations and advice or just a friendly chat! The room was well cleaned and the pool area was great.

Stayed here for 9 nights early May. Lovely one bedroom apartment with a big balcony & everything you need in it. All the staff are fabulous & the cleaners do an amazing job. Plenty of sun loungers round the pool. A 10-15 minute walk to the beach & a bus stop very close by with really frequent busses into Ayia Napa or Protaras. Lovely 25 minute stroll takes you to the new marina with a nice little coffee shop & restaurants. It's a great value for money place to stay & we will be back!

Fabulous holiday from the moment we arrived at the complex ! We were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment from a studio, which was clean and spacious with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Every single team member we encountered during our stay was friendly, polite and so helpful .... Nothing was ever too much trouble ... A massive well done to you all, and Thank you for a wonderful stay

Just arrived back after 2 weeks at the village. Had a great time. The room (a studio suite) was very spacious and had recently been renovated. Well equipped with an enormous balcony. The pool area is very large with lots of sun beds. There were free sun beds at any time of day whilst we were there. The bar area is well set out and the food was good quality. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back

Staff are super friendly and helpful (we had an issue with the air-conditioning, but it was dealt with before we even got back to the room!) Room had everything you need for a self catering holiday, cleaning ladies were amazing! Pool area was a good size and not over crowded, I did find that there wasn't a slide as advertised and also one lifeguard in particular was around but not paying attention and children were climbing rocks (when stated not too) which was concerning!! Food at the bar was fantastic, and the mini market on site was great value for money. Disappointed that there weren't any activities for children to do in the day or no evening entertainment (glad we didn't go all-inclusive)
We had a nice stay, but I would say it's definitely a basic complex to stay on, but had most things for a nice stay.
