Good location, still decent price, friendly staff and a few draw backs

Location is fantastic with immediate access to both subway and bus services. Only a few stops from Alexanderplatz and Potsdamer Platz. If you do not like public transport lots of sights are in walking distance.
Close to bakery, grocery stores and many restaurants.

Friendly and service minded staff that made us feel welcome.

Service at breakfast was difficult. Unless you want filter coffee, you have to order every other type of coffee from the waiter. This makes for unecessary wait times and kills the flow of the otherwise decent breakfast.
Eggs to order is also a nice touch, but I got mine cold 3 out of 4 times because wait staff is so busy.

In our room we were unable to control the temperature of the water in the shower. The water would go from cold to scolding hot and vice versa no matter what we tried.

We were also unable to control the temperature in our room in a meaningful way. Unless we opened the window the temperature would go up to over 24C during the night. The technical staff looked at it, but that didn't change anything.

The "gym" is just a VERY cramped room with some decent gym equipment in it. Less would have been more here.

I wasn't prepared for the fact that my windows overlook the hotel lobby. A view from the window is very important to me. But then I got used to it.
The bartender, Matteo, is a very good professional.

The hotel is in a great location with friendly front desk staff and the rooms are very big and spacious. However, housekeeping was lacking, the bed sheets weren’t changed unless we asked and when I accidentally spilled a bit of juice on the bed, they just covered it with blankets instead of changing them. The air conditioning didn’t work as promised and the manager explained that it should work within an hour of being turned on, but that never happend. Also, the blinds would randomly open, which raised privacy concerns. Overall, it was a good stay, but improvements in housekeeping and air conditioning are needed.

Ideal location very close to train station, wifi wouldn’t reach the bedroom though and only worked in the bathroom and we had a member of staff walk into our room without knocking. Buuuut the front desk staff were beyond amazing and helped us immensely. Sauna access is also incredible for tired exploring feet!

Quite large rooms, ours was overlooking the park. The bathroom was very big with a separate toilet room. We arrived early evening and after unpacking left for dinner, we returned to find there were no towels and no room service in the evening, I had to go to reception to collect the towels. No tea/coffee making facilities, you have to go to reception to get a kettle. Staff were OK, the barman on our 2nd day was very attentive, the location suited us as we walked everywhere from here. The underground is very nearby and easy to get to.

Brilliant hotel. Our room was a great size and very clean. Bathroom had a nice big bath and a hand rail to help you get out easy. We had a cot for our baby, very comfortable and clean. All staff very friendly. Breakfast nice. We went when it was 28 degrees, room temperature was perfect. Beds comfy, pillows poor though, very flat, only complaint. Location great, right next to metro station. Would return if we're in Berlin again

A very nice comfortable hotel with modern interior. Friendly personnel. Good breakfast with decent variety. A kettle in the room is not available though. Located close to the metro station and a bus stop, walking distance to the historical part of the city. We really enjoyed the stay there. 👍😊❤️

The location is excellent, convenient for getting around. It's near Berlin Friedrichstrabe station; exit at Ausgang Friesrichstabe, cross the street and turn left onto the small alley (next to the Block House restaurant). There's a Rewe supermarket nearby (also inside the station) and a DM pharmacy. The room is spacious enough to fit three 24-inch suitcases comfortably. The mattress is quite soft, and overall cleanliness is acceptable. A wooden floor, not a carpet, would be preferable.

A Berlin Beauty with Grace, Grandeur—and a Slightly Shy AC

We had a marvelous five-night stay at the Cosmo Mitte, where the rooms are so spacious and airy, you momentarily forget you're in Europe, where hotel rooms often double as closet space. Here, the ceilings soar, the design whispers understated elegance, and the beds beckon after long walks through history.

A standing ovation to the staff, especially Angelina and Stefano—true hospitality professionals whose warmth, attention, and cheer elevated our entire experience. If management is reading this: give them a raise or, at the very least, an excellent bottle of something bubbly.

The breakfast is fresh, thoughtful, and relaxed—but aiming for variety, we chose to wander to the nearby Sandwich Bar (an easy 8-minute walk) for paninis, patisserie, and some excellent scrambled eggs. The option to mix it up was a treat.

Location-wise, it’s a gem: walking distance to Museum Island, Gendarmenmarkt, and just far enough from the tourist crush to feel like you’re in on a secret.

If we were to nitpick (and we are): the AC system, branded “Ecco,” felt a little too environmentally conscious for a hot night—more breeze than blast. And a small plea from those of us staying in the lower room categories: a coffee machine in-room would turn morning grumbles into grins.

Overall, a wonderful stay with style, substance, and standout service. We’ll be back.

Great location, next to train station. Big room, comfy bed, good shower room. Many eateries nearby, including one mart selling mostly korea products.
