Living Hotel Großer Kurfürst in Berlin

I stayed in their top suite (709). A bit disappointing. A little 1980's. A few things that every traveller wants, a comfy bed and this wasnt it. It was hard, no topper, standard hard spring mattress. Something else every traveller wants is a good shower. And yes the bathroom was good and shower had good pressure, but shower floor was slippery. Room came with minibar but nothing in the fridge when i arrived. Reception appologized but didnt top up fridge till next day. Huge carpet stain in lounge area upstairs. Air conditioning hard to operate and didnt appear to be working. I assume thats why there were 2 pedistal fans in the room. Lastly, Wifi was terrible. Very slow and kept cutting out. Was good in the foyer but in the room was terrible. Overall it was disappointing and would not stay here again.

Very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is very old and not been maintained. The beds are uncomfortable, pillows terrible. There is no aircon and in summer it’s very hot. The shower had very poor water pressure. Just a fire vibe. So bad.
