Hotel Romy is well located near Berlin station within a 5mins walk. The room is small but well equipped. Hotel Romy is pretty accessible to places of interest. Enjoyed a nice spread of breakfast n greeted by warm smiles from the restaurant staff.

I stayed here the day before taking a train from Berlin Central Station to Prague.
It is located as soon as you exit the station entrance and cross the crosswalk. It was convenient as I had a lot of luggage.
The room was cramped, but the space was minimal.
However, there are many stores inside Berlin Central Station, so you won't have any trouble shopping. The hotel faces the tram line, so it was convenient to go to other areas by tram.
The breakfast area is spacious and stylishly decorated. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The location is incredible, right in front of the central station with connections to absolutely all means of transportation. The hotel, facilities, and rooms are super modern, with rooms equipped with a coffee maker and a tablet. The breakfast is a bit expensive, perhaps for what is offered. The attention from the front desk staff, especially José, was outstanding—they were super friendly. I recommend it and would definitely return.

Absolutely loved this hotel!! Train station hotels often feel divey, but while simple, the reception and rooms were well appointed and welcoming - and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I’ve always stayed at Potsdamer Platz when visiting Berlin, but given the reasonable price and the easy access to all public transportation, I think this will be my go to from now on. There’s even a passageway right outside the hotel that takes you under the street to Hauptbahnhof.

Great location for station as one night in Berlin with an early train the next morning.
Hotel room nice but bed did not get on with my back, felt like the mattress needed replacing, depending on where you laid why uneven.

I booked Hotel Romy by Amano well in advance for New Year’s, impressed by the photos and concept. What I experienced, however, was nothing short of appalling.
When I asked for water (since none was in the room), I was told to go buy it myself from the nearest supermarket because the restaurant was closed. A hotel where the reception can't provide basic necessities like water is beyond unprofessional.
The worst part came on New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1st, 2025). At 6:45 AM, I went to the restaurant for a coffee, only to be told they weren’t serving because of the NYE party. Desperate for water or coffee, I asked for assistance. Alejandro, a staff member, kindly went to the kitchen to help. Suddenly, one visibly intoxicated staff member—still drunk from the night before—started shouting at me. He stumbled toward me, got alarmingly close to my face, and aggressively accused me of having the audacity to ask for service. When I walked away, he continued yelling and swearing at me. I said to him, I do not want to talk to you since you are drunk, he confessed he was drunk, and continued shouting. A staff member. In a hotel. Wow.
This behavior is a disgrace to hospitality. I understand staff may have been overworked, but harassing customers is unacceptable. Avoid it at all costs.
