InterContinental Berlin, an IHG Hotel

While the overall service at the Intercontinental Berlin met expectations, my stay was marred by a significant cleanliness issue in the rooms. The design and appearance of the rooms are pleasant, but unfortunately, both of the rooms I booked were not adequately cleaned. In my first room, I was shocked to discover hair scattered throughout, even on the bedside table. After requesting a room change, I encountered the same problem in the second room. This is highly disappointing, particularly for a five-star property where cleanliness should be paramount.

The housekeeping manager did apologize and took immediate action by offering to replace everything in the room, along with a small gift. While I appreciate the gesture, I found it unacceptable to experience such an issue in a luxury hotel. Furthermore, I had also reserved a second room for my parents on a different floor, and they experienced a similar problem with stray hair. Though they chose not to raise the issue, it reflects a concerning lapse in housekeeping standards.

On a positive note, the breakfast selection was excellent, offering a wide variety of quality options. However, I sincerely hope that the hotel addresses this issue, as cleanliness is fundamental to maintaining the reputation of a five-star establishment. I expect better attention to detail in the future.

We were here at the hotel for a long weekend and it was in a great location to see the sights of Berlin.

We booked a premium room with a sofa bed which was great for a family of 4. The room was clean and large and had a huge bathroom with a bath tub.

We booked directly and chose the option that included parking and breakfast. Parking is onsite in a basement no worked well.

Breakfast was great with lots of fresh options to suit all tastes.

Service was good.

To note there is a pool and spa but this is with an extra charge. We were given free access as we have loyalty membership but others in front were charged 10 euros each entrance

My family and I had a very warm welcome at the front desk, the young man was polite and very good with my two Boys. He gave us all the information we needed and a map of Berlin, pointing out the sights and how to get to them. Our room was very clean and spacious, enough room for four of us comfortably. Breakfast was very very good, a lovely choice of different foods and drinks.
I found all the staff to be kind and courteous and nothing was too much trouble.
I gave 3 stars for the location as I have young children but this should not detract from the hotel. It's close to some nice restaurants and the Zoo.

Absolutely love this hotel. Stayed here last September with my cousin and it was very reasonably priced. The hotel itself was beautiful and the service was the best. We especially loved Camila and Nico, and they were so so helpful in giving us the best recommendations, whether it be food, activities, and nightlife. They are THE SWEETEST!!! We also checked out the bar in the lobby as well, and the drinks were delicious and the bartender was also very kind and hospitable as well.

Since most of the things that we did were a bit farther from the hotel, we just took Bolts everywhere and it was fine. Berlin is quite a large city, much bigger than I had thought. Regardless, our stay was amazing.

Overall, one of the best stays I've ever had! If I ever get the chance to visit Berlin again, I know I would love to stay here!

Super good food with excellent waitresses. Pascal was very nice and always there for us. I didn’t have to raise my hand because he was always there. Pascal gets the 5 stars reputation from me.

Excellent, high-quality hotel. It’s especially good when you consider the extremely reasonable price. Really good service. The hotel bar has great drinks, professional service, and lovely personnel. In terms of price/quality, it’s a bargain. There is also a gym and spa with a pool that is available for an extra price. Breakfast was delicious..

The location is superb, situated in the heart of Berlin, providing easy access to major business centers, cultural sites, and public transportation. The room was spacious, modern, and equipped with all necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The conference facilities were outstanding, with well-equipped meeting rooms and excellent catering services. The staff was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Overall, the InterContinental Berlin provided a seamless and productive environment for my business trip. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Berlin for business.

Wonderful stay, our room- a suite for 2 adults and 2 children was spacious, quiet and comfortable, slept like a log (pillow was like a hug). Breakfast is one of the best, fabulous! Discovered Michelin star restaurant on site, must do next time! Great spot with kiddies as right beside zoo and aquarium and Tiergarden. Pool available as an extra. Lovely experience all round.
