Very clean room. Hotel in a very quiet area. Although it's a little outdated, items in room and restaurant area brand new. I think that removing carpets from rooms would make them look much younger and fresh.

Very well located, close to motorways, trains, petrol station, etc. Staff very helpful and meals were great. We got a fantastic price too for 3 nights, about £120. Nice room, lovely and clean.

My room very spacious and it was great to be able to open one of the two windows widely. This was important due to the hot weather. No air conditioning and I did not think to ask for a fan

We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of the room very much. The view from the bar is outstanding and the cocktails served there seriously exceeded our expectations

Excellent position near Aldstadt, Rhine, K21 Museum and UBahn. Breakfast was great, especially nice and efficient staff. Rooms were older style but clean, comfortable, good showers and amenities

Of course the hotel provided once again a unique experience of living in a Museum filled with artistic treasures while enjoying the pleasures and comforts of a modern facility

Let's start with the positives the hotel is nice and with a good location just five minutes away from the center and eight minutes away from the airport and the family room was nice and and there's a playing area for kids just outside the hotel and there's a Moroccan guy works at the breakfast area he was very nice and helpful I didn't get his name all of them are nice but him specially The negatives...

But because I was only here for 1 and a half days I totally recommend :)

It's a nice hotel with accommodating staff. Underground car parking. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a good location close to the city center. It's worth it.

The service was the biggest letdown of my trip, especially as I experienced issues with the wifi every single day of my trip. I had work meetings interrupted two days in a row and the staff offered no help or workaround

The price goes very crazy - for a normal room it goes to 200eur+. The room has a bad smell near toilet, turning OK after ventilation, but gone bad again in the night. Overall nice, if with normal price

The staff were very friendly, rooms had everything we needed. They also had a coffee machine. Location is great, you can walk to the center very easily. If you don't like walking, there is metro to take you there

I know one is supposed to use less water when taking a shower but when it is as lovely as this, it's tricky not to spend a little longer there. Looked after exceptionally well by Marcel at the bar

The hotel looked old inside and not so luxurious. The elevator was very small and is not meant for two people with suitcases. Don't keep your bags in your back while standing in there or you'll be pushed by the doors

Location was good, around 15 minutes walking from the main station and around the same for the centre. I was ill during my stay, went to first aid. The hotel offered to pay for the taxi costs

The disadvantage from my point of view was that the room was to the Prince of the square a little loud: who wants to sleep here in the summer with the window open, should have earplugs

Staff were incredibly helpful when I was stressed, let the kids sit in reception and offered them a free hot chocolate! When I realised we weren’t going anywhere we booked rooms and the staff were really helpful

The room I had was big, quiet and clean with a good bed, but honestly, also dated. In spite of that the employees made my short stay a marvellous one. I have had a very nice lunch and a great breakfast

I do recommend this hotel. Has a free parking nearby and a U77 station 200m across the street. Nice room and good service. I was in the city for Drupa and it was a fantastic option.

Lovely hotel. Very nicely situated on a walking distance from Dusseldorf highlights. Personnel was very friendly. Great breakfast buffet. Only the temperature on the room was pretty high. But very nice and cosy room.

You don't need an alarm clock here as the street cleaner will wake you up at 7 AM if You have a room with a street facing window. Otherwise it's a good place to stay at, U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are close.

We were greeted when we arrived it reception and made to feel very welcome. Even though we arrived a few hours early for check-in a room was free which was wonderful

The location is perfect, not far from the city center and not in the middle of the hassle; just perfectly located with everything in close vicinity

However there is a subway station with elevator access about 2 minutes away making it very easily accessible for those feeling lazy or require additional help. The hotel itself was pristine and very cosy

Can't recommend this hotel enough. Stayed here for three nights in late November. Hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Out room was also beautiful, with our own patio

Old Mansion converted to 5 star hotel. Everything is clean , comfy and beautiful. Attention to detail is everywhere and the staff were all very friendly. This is the only place I would ever stay in Düsseldorf.

With the close proximity to the city center, and the secured but limited parking situation, I can definitely recommend this as a more private and intimate hotel to stay away when in Dusseldorf

The city center is close and you’d reach Messe more conveniently as from the center because here you avoid the traffic ;) I highly recommend booking a room (if one is available) ;))

Room was extremely clean and great amenities. The entire room, corridors and the hotel had a unique scent which I wanna buy on my next visit 💯. Also to add, inclusive Mini bar was a plus point

Lovely hotel with amazing views on Düsseldorf and the Rhine. Rooms are nice and recent, rooftop bar is very nice and staff very friendly.

Nice & clean rooms, with good views from higher floors. A noisy fan ran all night because a/c cannot be switched off. Some interesting architecture surrounds the hotel, including the 1999 Frank Gehry complex

A very positive Surprise regarding a "4-Star-Hotel" in Düsseldorf! Exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. My Room was larger than expected, with a Window towards a very quiet Yard / Garden

The Lessing-Hotel offers FREE WiFi. There is a Parking Garage available for very reasonable Euro 15,- for a Day. Breakfast was great, with a large Selection and Variety of Food

The location of the hotel is just inbetween Little Tokyo and the shopping street. Everything is walking distance. For shopping there is a bakery and supermarket close by. Also the U-bahn station is almost next door

Very friendly team of receptionists. Clean rooms. Toilets should be renovated. There was street drilling all during the stay and it was not mentioned.

The rooms were fine but too hot and there was no air-conditioning. Thanks to the personal assistance of Bogo and Timo we had a good and carefree stay in the hotel

The only drawback, hotel is located directly on the busy main street, so extremely loud, mattress has its good times behind

I don't have to criticise in our DZ, in addition to the permanently installed hair dryer in the slightest. There is a kettle (!!) on each of the rooms ready in the Instant coffee or tea free of charge prepare

In the bathroom soap and Shampoo is available (of course), but also a Body Lotion that was new to me. The cleanliness was excellent, no complaints on the bed or in the bathroom

In the end, had to sit in a cafe nearby. The breakfasts are delicious! And good service Yes, actually all the hotels are mostly young staff with friendly attitude

Near the center, 10 minutes walk and you are in the old town. Next only to the Turkish cafe, so if you want to eat tasty German briskets have to go to the old town. Housekeeping is provided daily

Normally I stay with friends while in Düsseldorf, but this time I need a hotel and asked for a recommendation- Ruby was the first choice of those who know! The lobby is cool and has great relaxed vibes

I will warn you that the showers are see through with a curtain that only goes half way around- a little awkward as I was sharing a room with my daughter! And the toilet is only frosted glass and there is no fan! I got two rooms for me and my kids- one larger and one smaller

They have two pillows for each person one large and soft and one small and firm- so you can have the feel that you prefer! It’s a small detail, but makes a bit difference! If I can’t stay with friends I’m happy to stay here again!

The people who work here have an attitude of trying to make everything work, which is not always true in Germany. Ananna was particularly helpful when I wanted to extend only one of the rooms for one more night

Loved the two-times-a-day room service where in the morning they clean the room, do the bed and change towels while you are on the breakfast, and then in the evening they prepare the room for the night fluffing the pillows, closing the curtains leaving you a little card with a short goodnight read about the city - new every night

And given we're on top floor it is very warm. A good selection of spirits although bar man was not so warm-up try tzble service. Rooms on arrival lived up to expectations for a 5 star international hotel brand

I had a great experience at this hotel! Stayed for 4 days during a conference. The room was very confortable and clean. Included breakfast is awesome! 3. Holmes Places fitness gym is also great

My only criticism would be the breakfast, the buffet area was really small for the size of the hotel, it was congested. You may consider the room service. I would still give easy 5 stars as everything else was perfect

The bathroom was pretty nice and clean, a bit smaller compared to the large bedroom but still more than decent! Products were all Rituals! Breakfast had plenty of choice, scrumbled eggs, bacon, yoghurt, and on and on

It was a very pleasant experience: a bit confusing in the beginning because of a busy street but no noise at night at all. The personnel is polite and friendly, the room was warm, clean, spacious and stylish

The negatives would be the AC system good thing we had cool nights so I opened the window instead. It was very convenient to go to the Messe. Hope they can do some remodeling and upgrade the AC and refs

Our overall experience wasn’t terrible, but the air conditioning in the room didn’t work very well. They were unable to provide a fan, and the fridge in the room was out of order as well
