Hotel Prinz Anton in Dusseldorf

Rooms are nothing like advertised, you get shoved away in the building opposite the street.
No kettle, no coffee machine. Super tiny bed, maybe 130cm wide.
And the photo of the room we had is not on booking, probably only the pretty rooms

As we decided last minute to go to Dusseldorf we called the hotel first. They couldn't say if they have a room (how?). They asked to write an email and they would get back to me the next morning, so I send them an email. No reply. When I called them on the road, she said she has only 1 room and that I should come over. She was not willing to inform more (about price eg). Once we got there, she had 2 rooms available: 1 for 185 euro (with a bedwidh of 140 cm! and one room for 235 euro with a bedwidh of 160 cm. And we could pay in CASH only. The room was oke, but the bed had linnen for only 1 person, also towels was only for 1 person. When we asked for it, we never received it. It was horrible. The breakfast was realy very poor. there was not much choice, moreover it was not fresh, not at all. I have never seen blue cheese with mold but here I have. The area is not so nice, as a woman I felt not so secure. It was not worth a penny, not to mention 235 euro's for only 1 night! Overal, I would not recommend anyone.

The room was the equivalent of a hamster cage and did not look like the pictures. The reception was unfriendly and insulting. Every hotel I have been to in Düsseldorf has been better than this one.

Small breakfast room, had to wait the first morning for a free table, no bar despite that it was mentioned on the hotels features.

The Hotel (at least my room) is a real impertinence! The operators/owners I wish, for once, a night in the room I had to spend the night. I don't think they will do this. Unfortunately, I made the mistake to open my window because it stank in the room unspeakably. I had to climb on a kind of table, because the window is two meters in height. Unfortunately, then like when you Open the all the Gore, which is located between the window and window frame, into the underlying bed.
First of all, the hotel operator should visit at least once in a basic course in hotel industry. For those of you that think, here to stay, I recommend a youth hostel or Hostel. There you will receive more comfort, and less disgust, like flies and hair in the bed.
The only positive is the lady at the reception noticed; friendly and helpful.

Addendum: The longer I'm here the more stranger things happen is an additional room which is booked for our copious Luggage, extra happen in this shit hole: (and paid!) was, was on the second day at once is no longer available and we had to our Luggage in a basement store, which resembled a garbage dump In between, any hotel folder marked "bills of 2012", etc. This was probably the "work room" of accounting.

The next day I was advised that I should not open my window in my disgusting smelly room. I don't know why.
Meanwhile, there are also re-warm water.

Please, do not do this disgusting "Hotel"!
