Leonardo Hotel Hamburg-Stillhorn in Hamburg

The hotel is magnificent both inside and out. The room is truly beautiful and spacious, very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and the price is absolutely unbeatable: 47 euros for two people per night!!! Nothing bad to say... just make sure you come back because it's not far from the center of Hamburg.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. All my requests were taken care of, and the manager made sure everything was perfect, making me completely happy. This hotel is highly recommended! It's a pleasure every time. See you soon!

This was a great hotel for our purpose, a one night stay during a road trip. Location next to the highway with fast chargers available. The breakfast was very good, lots of fresh options and service was great. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and up to date. Nothing fancy just fine. Beds are comfortable. No air-conditioning if you travel in the summer. There is also a small self-scan shop for light refreshments. Dogs are allowed for €15 per dog per night.

It's very convenient for where I need to work, so I can't compare it to people who visit for holidays.
The food, is unbelievable... From 17:00 to 21:00 diner is served in a buffet style and the food like like home cooked meals, it's genuinely delicious.
The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious.
The only drawback I have heard of, was from people who were outside saying that the noise from the highway kept them up (but they did seem like people who liked to complain)
I stayed in the room at the back, 318, and the noise was not a problem even with the windows open in the evening.
It's got parking too, bit for normal cars as well as E-vehicles.
There's also a self serve kios with snacks etc which also works on the honour system.
Breakfast is delicious and serious worth it for 18€ (review posted on 2025)
Nice bar area with a big screen to watch sports, indoor chill area as well as a nice outside area for the smokers and people who prefer sitting outside.

The hotel is a very nice hotel, conveniently located when traveling south from Sweden. There is a Tesla Supercharger and parking services included. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was good.

Good and tidy hotel, conveniently located right next to the highway. It has two electric car charging stations and several Tesla Superchargers in the parking. The staff were friendly and clear in their communication, and the breakfast was good. Our room on the third floor was quite warm and did not have air conditioning, but there was a fan available. The parking was also free.

Great location with the added convenience of a Tesla Supercharger right in the parking lot. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.

The breakfast buffet offers a solid selection, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. A special shoutout for the beds — the memory foam mattresses are a game changer, especially compared to the typical hotel beds that seem optimized for featherweight guests.

That said, the breakfast staff could be more accommodating when it comes to allergies. Management should ensure that team members are equipped and supported to handle these conversations in simple English — a must for an international hotel.

Also worth noting: the framed allergy guide placed in the yogurt section is confusing. It references codes that aren’t used on the individual dish labels, making it more decorative than helpful.

This hotel surprised us on so many levels. After 7 days travelling through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France staying at 5-star hotels, we were on our way home to Denmark and booked this hotel as a quick-stop so that we could sleep and refuel. But it was SO MUCH MORE! The room was good-sized with a coffee machine and modernised bathroom. The receptionist, Jim, changed our room when he noticed that we had booked a room with only a bath and we prefer a walk-in shower. The bartender was able to serve a very nice wine and the greeter at the restaurant allowed us to sit in the breakfast area as it was nearer to the buffet. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be recommending this hotel, which is a half-minute from the major north-south highway through northern Germany, to all our friends as the perfect pit-stop on the way to or from Denmark!
