Leonardo Hotel Stillhorn

This hotel surprised us on so many levels. After 7 days travelling through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France staying at 5-star hotels, we were on our way home to Denmark and booked this hotel as a quick-stop so that we could sleep and refuel. But it was SO MUCH MORE! The room was good-sized with a coffee machine and modernised bathroom. The receptionist, Jim, changed our room when he noticed that we had booked a room with only a bath and we prefer a walk-in shower. The bartender was able to serve a very nice wine and the greeter at the restaurant allowed us to sit in the breakfast area as it was nearer to the buffet. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be recommending this hotel, which is a half-minute from the major north-south highway through northern Germany, to all our friends as the perfect pit-stop on the way to or from Denmark!

Nice hotel. Easy to find. Glad we were able to check in late. Dog was welcome. We will come back here!
Tip: install more regular car chargers. All chargers were occupied, all 2 (or 4?). so I had to load somewhere else the next day. There were a lot of Tesla chargers but I couldn't use them.

Leonardo Hotel Stillhorn was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and always attentive to their Guests specially the Staff who are working in Reception. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s amenities, including the Spa, Fitness Studio and Restaurant were outstanding and added to the overall experience. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area of Hamburg. And also there are Bus infront of the Hotel going to the main City.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful and hassle-free stay.

A budget hotel next to the highway, nothing special, a little old, but the breakfast is OK.

Convenient parking, only 8 euros a night

The port city is very beautiful. This time I stayed in the suburbs, but it is very convenient to go anywhere in Germany if you have a car. This time I went to watch the European Cup and didn’t miss this city. If Germany has the opportunity to host the game again, I will take my family with me.

During the exhibition, I couldn't book a hotel in downtown Hamburg. I was quite surprised to book this Leonardo. It is about 13 kilometers from the city and 17 kilometers from Hamburg Messe (40 euros by taxi). The hotel is right at the highway exit, which is quite convenient. It is difficult to call a taxi during the morning rush hour, so you can ask the front desk to help you call a taxi.

There is a parking lot at the entrance of the hotel, and there are many parking spaces. Moreover, there is a Tesla super charging station, which is very friendly for renting electric cars.

The overall environment of the room is good, clean and tidy. The bed in the king-size bed room is made of two small beds. Many hotels in Germany do not have air conditioning, but are equipped with an industrial-style fan. Fortunately, Hamburg was not very hot in early September.

The breakfast is a very classic German breakfast, with various alkaline buns and various hams, and the taste is pretty good. But this Chinese stomach, everyone knows.

There is free fruit supply in the hotel lobby, bananas, prunes, grapes, and they all taste very good.
