Modern and very spacious rooms and architecture overall. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. The only thing to mention is that air-conditioning can be loud. The gym is small but very functional

Location is just perfect! Right in the center of Hamburg, close to the main shopping street, lots of places around in walking distance. You can get there easily by car, public transport and of course taxi

Good hotel, near Berliner Tor S/U-bahn. Pool a little bit old, but functional, water not so warm. Playroom for kids in the basement. Bar also has a minor food menu, kids menu the same for both restaurants

The hotel is at a main Street with high traffic. To reduce the noise it has doubled windows at the rooms. The room 207 (double beds) is in a modern style and good for overnight-stay - even longer periods

It has a big flat-tv, a bar, a bathtub (with a glass for the shower), a uv-lamp and a hair-dryer. The breakfast was rich and of good quality, the service is nice and helpful

Bed very small for the price I paid. But it was good because I wanted quietness after staying in hostel previous place. But other than that, it was way too small for the price I paid

This hotel itself it's quite iconic since it's located very close to the old town of Hamburg, just next to Dammtor train station, Stephansplatz metro station and directly linked to the Congress Center Hamburg, and it's itself one of the tallest buildings of the entire city

Friendly check-in and quick rectification of an issue (reassignment to a quieter room away from elevator shaft). Beautiful views from 25th floor. Older hotel (bathrooms could be bigger with more space for personal items)

The hotel is near the center and easy access to everything. If you're a Scandic member you can get a 1-3 free alcohol-free drinks. The rooms aren't really update or feeling "luxurious or premium" as they advertise

The food quality has gone down, the lounge has just gotten worse, over time they removed things and lowered the quality of things. The breakfast down by the lobby is okay, though it also has suffered the same

They always find ways to limit what they say is unlimited. Often broken and or things missing, they don't seem to care that everything is working and not looking like the hotel came just out of building

It should be mentioned that a mini fridge is only available in suites. And please be aware that Berliner Tor is a permanent construction site. Don't plan to arrive at the hotel by train or subway

One of the best hotels I stayed in Hamburg. Space rooms, clean, great location, quiet place to rest and my dog was in heaven. Breakfast was good and it is opened long every day. Check out later than many other places

This hotel is very good in every place. The front desk was very enthusiastic when we arrived that night. They introduced the hotel's features and found comfortable pillows and quilts for us

I really enjoyed my stay at Movenpick Hamburg. The hotel is inside an old building that was water tower and has been rebuilt with great care and it feels special the moment you sleep

But some things could be improved: 1. The sound insulation in the rooms is not good. While watching TV at a moderate volume in my room at night, I heard my neighbor knocking on the wall

I liked the breakfast buffet very much, as it’s a typical German style breakfast: müsli and cereal choices as well as fresh vegetables and fruit and different kinds of grain bread, eggs, pancakes… Be aware that the rooms are very clean upon arrival however; you will need to order cleaning DURING your stay a day in advance

I booked the hotel for business trip, is good. very close to the Bahn station and two supermarket around, it is super. But water temperature is very unstable when bathing. Laundry service is bad and take long time…..

Room was a connecting room, we were a family of 6 but were not given rooms next to each other. Upon checkout at 10am after 4 hours sleep, reception weren't bothered with my comments

Another advantage is the proximity of a car rental, which even allows for the cars to park there over night, so that one does not need to book the hotel Garage for €20/night! (Enterprise autovermieting) Rooms were ok, on lower floors with aircon and window can be opened

The only inconvenience is that the restaurant wasn't working so we had to look for a place to have dinner. Which ended up actually a good thing because we found a wonderful restaurant "Werft" around the corner

Check in done very quickly, the rooms can be easily accessed by lifts or stairs. Good size room and bathroom, there is a fridge in the room if needed. The shower in the bathroom was good size and worked well
