People no matter the age stay for € 35 per person per night when using an available extra bed.

It has a helpful, understanding and hospitable work team. You can reach them easily. They are very interested. I thank them very much . ( I also liked the location of the hotel very much )

Strange experience here. When I arrived, with a reservation, to the hotel (about 10pm or a little earlier) it was completely shut with no one there. I tried knocking on the doors but no answer, no answer from the phone number on the hotel website, no answer from the phone number seen from the exterior of the building either. I asked in the shop opposite and they had another number for the hotel and called them and helped me enter the hotel using a code left for me. The hotel had emailed me to tell me the reception would not be staffed and to enter the code but I hadn't received this email, which was sent only 1 or 2 hours before. The room quality was actually quite good for the price but never saw a staff member at the hotel, not even the next morning. The hotel cited the national train strikes which were ongoing at the time as a reason for the lack of staff.

The reception service was great.
You have to park your car at the garage, but ypu get 3 euro voucher from hotel..
The rooms were ok. Fridge is too loud, had hard time sleeping between that and a paper thin walls / doors.. you could hear every step and every word from people outside your door. Very old/renovated hotel.
No shower gel in the shower. But they do have bar soap.
Blanket on the bed needs to be washed.... some hair on it was stuck and made it unpleasant. As well as some black hair from other people on shower towels... gross.
Balcony was super small, but manageable to sit outside. The environment was rather quiet, so that was pleasant. However, I would not recommend to stay there unless all hotels in cologne are booked out.
I'd refer Hyatt instead.

I made reservation via booking on Saturday 2 September. Unfortunately I made mistake with the dates (booked 1night from 18-19 Sep instead of 4-5 Sep). I tried to cancel my reservation immediately. Well, hotel Cara Vita took the whole 80% fee of cancellation.
Everyone made mistakes but you could take max 10-20%, not the whole fee of 80%. It´s disgusting.
My colleagues go to Köln during the year several times. You can forget that anyone from our company will book any room in your hotel.

Generally fine. The front desk reception was warm. However, some of the staff could be better. Items on the breakfast buffet should be refilled if guests request for and it's not past closing time for service

The Breakfast is quite clear! The sausage was bad and had green. In the room the hair dryer and night lamp is not working. The room look completely different on the pictures ! Pretty loud on the street side. For one night it was ok. Supposedly 5 minutes to the city, you can set to 15 minutes

Our room was renovated, but had erhäbliche defects. Such as a defective toilet seat, or bedside table lamp .The Breakfast was manageable. The room was only superficially clean, dusty cabinets.

The Hotel was according to the Booking Service refurbished but to me it made the impression it has not been brought reconstruction to an end. Even at the time of booking the free public Parking in the vicinity would be available. Unfortunately, however, only between 23 o'clock and 9 o'clock on weekdays. Because you need a Parking ticket. But it can only be purchased for a maximum of 4 hours.

At first glance a nice Hotel. On closer look, there is a need for improvement. Check-In was friendly and smooth, the room (superficial, renovated) on the 4th floor (without Elevator) is sufficient. Cleanliness could be better... There is a narrow balcony shared with another room and a small shower with a curtain. The Breakfast was continental (not a big selection, nothing for diabetics, coffee okay) but since we are one of the First products, it was still cozy. Later at Check-Out (also in the Breakfast room!!) it was a bit cramped and not cozy. All in all, for a short stay without a lot of claims sufficient.
