ibis Hotel Munchen City

Great hotel .
The staff very attentive and helpful. The room are nice (but don’t clean everyday- which one fine by me).
Location just 5 min walk (even less) from main train station. Safe area, close 1 min to the metro.
Many cafe, restaurant and supermarket around.
Overall value for money 100%

I am an Accor member and this is one of the hotel they suggested. No regrets in chosing this one. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Room is clean and no stinky smell. Bathroom is clean. Room and bathroom is fit for the amount. The location is near the tourist spots, trains and buses are nearby. Breakfast buffet is not expensive💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫

The hotel room was beautiful. The self closing bathroom door was annoying however but that was the only con in terms of the room. The location is close to the train station but is rather far from the city center. It is not a comfortably walkable distance. The check in was smooth and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommend!

The hotel is close to the central station and easy accessible. 24 hours service and the staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are too small, just for the sleeping. Clean rooms and bathroom. Prices are regular but depends of the period of time that you booked the room. Breakfast for extra 17 euros. It’s continental and has a big variety, but close to the end of breakfast there no big variety at the buffet. Also you can left your luggage at the specific room after check out with a security system. During the night it’s safe to walk at the area of the hotel.

I was there for a Business conference visit. The rooms are good. Breakfast is delicious and you get 24hour quality beer at reception desk:) I had a nice stay. Situated very close to Main central station. Its accessible to many important places

Ibis is about 5-10 minutes walk from Muenchen hbf, depending on speed of walk.
It is a super tiny room - it's good if you only need to stay there at night and leave your luggage. Otherwise, the feeing is it is too cramped.
Because of the location and service (my husband was able to watch German football on TV at the lobby) - I am a satisfied customer!

It's an economic room (very small) with very limited channels which is fine as long as you plan on spending most of your time elsewhere. The same street has a laundromat (convenient) and a strip club so something to consider if you have kids. However, it was an easy walk to where the buses met, the train station and Marienplatz. My only real disappointment was that we asked the desk where we could ship a package home and no one knew. Following an hour of looking, there is a DHL (?) about a block away near the train station where we shipped our heavier clothes back to the US.

My stay at ibis München City was excellent. The room size was perfect for my needs, providing ample space and comfort throughout my stay. The hotel's amenities and services were commendable, ensuring a pleasant experience overall.

However, I found the surrounding area somewhat lacking in nighttime attractions. While it may not be the most vibrant neighborhood after dark, exercising caution is advisable, as with any location worldwide. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel's convenient location and quality accommodations more than made up for it.

Overall, I would highly recommend ibis München City for travelers seeking a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Munich. With its accommodating rooms and attentive staff, it offers great value for money. Just remember to exercise common sense and caution when exploring the area at night.

We enjoyed our stay here. We initially plan to stay two nights, but needed to extend our stay by a day. The hotel staff were able to assist us with that very easily.

The breakfast provided here is delicious and delightful. There are many different options available. You literally cannot make a wrong choice.

The bar in the hotel is well stocked. They have a variety of drinks, and knowledgeable bartenders.

I would gladly stay here again when visiting Munich.
