Good garden

Kudos to Laura , Tina, and Sanjay for their attentiveness to us.
Breakfast is pricey but service is good, elevator is not available for upper floors so you need to make sure you mention this if you need one when booking.

Pros:
-Rooms are clean, spacious, and has great views
-Staff are nice and helpful
-REWE Pascal Kneuer is about 15 mins walk away (1 km), it is a scenic stroll
-Hotel has a restaurant

Cons:
-Hotel does not have an elevator
-Location is quite far away from Nuremberg Hbf. Public transport takes about 30-40 mins with multiple changes. The bus station is about 2-3 mins walk away. Driving will take about 20 mins. Calling a Bolt from Nuremberg Hbf to here is about €30.

We stayed one night on our way to Austria from The Netherlands and it met the purpose. A no nonsense hotel with a clean room that was well equipped. We were very pleased with the ev charging station behind the hotel. We skipped breakfast so all in all a quick encounter and we will stay here again if the occasion arises.

We booked as a family of 4 (2 Adults and 2 Kids ages 3 and 7), we asked for a double bed room and when we arrived, Laura the receptionist welcomed us with a friendly smile, she asked us for our breakfast preferences since it was going to be a la carte (The dining room was being remodeled). They were able to accomodate a gluten free breakfast for my wife. When we got into our room, I was surprised about the upgraded room, which was made of a double bed and a separated room with a bunk bed and a crib, so it was a family room. Breakfast was incredible! Susie, who is the breakfast server, was incredible! super friendly, very attentive and the kids love her.
I saw some negative reviews before coming to the Hotel and I could tell you from experience that they are not justified! The Hotel is so relaxing, high class, they have friendly and helpful service, the rooms are impeccable clean and it has a lot of the necessary amenities. Parking was extremely easy.
Overall, the Hotel was a 10 out of 10. I will come back again since our stayed was more like being home.

A lot of attention and significant budgets have been devoted to the layout of the Ryokan suites. Special mention should be made of the sliding frames with integrated blinds. The occasional low-flying planes are not too inconvenient. The room cleaners take their work very seriously: even the bathroom sink drain is polished! It is all the more unfortunate to see that the technical maintenance is not at the same level. See photo of the shower seal in suite 215, which should have been replaced a long time ago. The staff is very friendly. Special mention for the professionalism of the restaurant's Head Waiter. A suggestion: install surveillance cameras in the establishment's private car park. This might have prevented someone from scratching the side of my vehicle for almost two metres using a key.

I stayed here by myself after an international flight and before heading up towards Bamberg. It's mostly quiet, in a semi residential area. The room I booked was clean, spacious, practical. The service was top notch. The real gem however was the restaurant on site. I visited in the fall and the menu was seasonal, amazing butternut squash soup, delicious steak and a good wine by the glass. I would definitely come back!
