Stayed 2 nights in early December during the Xmas Markets. Have stayed at Novotel before and if you are looking for a spotless hotel, higher priced, good breakfast the. This is it. The Tech thing is just over the top. The elevators have touch up and down that are just difficult to operate. If you are parking a car and going in and out several times during the day, the whole process just gets in the way and is counter productive. My wife felt bad so ended up spending a long day in the room, if you are not German, just CNN and BBC for English channels gets a little old. There are no security locks on the doors that you can lock from the inside while my wife was resting 2 different people walked i to the room without knocking, this seemed odd to me. The maid had been there early that day. Pricing around 250e for a king room with breakfast. Parking was $20e every 24hrs. Of the 3 hotels on our 6 day trip this hotel WiFi was by far the worst. Most times not usable. The front desk very regimented and impracticable. Nice hotel, just not user friendly.

The rooms are wonderful - the standard room with Queen size bed has lots of space, a proper place for your suitcase, closet, kettle with tea and coffee, large bathroom and the most comfortable bed ever - firm mattress with down pillows and blankets.
The breakfast buffet has plenty of good options for hot and cold breakfast and the food tastes good.
The staff are actually friendly (although the reception gets quite busy, it seems they could use one or two more staff on because there was quite a wait to check in as all staff were busy answering 100 questions posed by 2 people).
Location is very convenient - just a couple minutes walk from Nürnberg Hbf - but this means it’s also a bit noisy. You can hear trains passing and whistles going. Maybe a bit more soundproofing is needed.
I also didn’t love the loud kids running up and down the halls and slamming doors, but that’s a personal pet peeve; I guess it’s good for families…
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay. Located close to the train station and very clean, well maintained hotel. Rooms are modern. Front staff and bar staff are excellent, both check in and check out. Highly recommend if you are coming to Nuremberg.

As usual, the stay was very pleasant.
Positives: Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very friendly. The small swimming poll was warm and perfect for kids.
Negatives: WiFi in room is not strong. Big swimming pool is a little bit cold.

I was allowed to check in early with the help of the manager of the hotel. Close to the main train station so this hotel can be a good base to explore the nearby towns for day trip. It is also within walking distance of the historic part of the city. Reasonably priced for its location. Clean big room with spacious bathroom. Fully functional AC when it is hot. The room has an iron so don't have to ask for it like many European hotels.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times before. Almost everything was fine with the exception of small things.
Last stayed here for 1 night on June 22-23, 2024 and was thoroughly disappointed. We will never stop here again in the future.
When I checked in at the reception, I presented my payment card, on which they blocked 493 euros for three rooms, plus 30 euros for each room (total 90 euros) as a deposit for something unknown. The manager at the desk explained that the €90 would be unlocked on my card when I checked out the next day.
The next day, at check-out, the manager gave me an invoice for 510 euros.
But, instead of deducting these funds from the blocked amount, the hotel blocked another 310 euros for unknown reasons. The hotel carried out some illegal manipulations with my bank card, and as a result, 510 euros were debited from my account, and 675 euros have been blocked for several days. The hotel does not respond to my requests for more than two days.
Thus, a once decent hotel turned into a fraudulent organization. I will never stay here again, and I do not recommend it to anyone!

My wife and I were just passing through and we stayed one night at this hotel. While we were overly fond of the rooms, we thought the water in the pool was too cold. We also felt that 25€ per person for breakfast was a bit steep of a price.

I often stay in Novotel hotels when travelling because the service is standardised at between 4 and 5, but this hotel will make me think twice the next time. The room was fine, but the pillows were feathers-filled and so empty that even placing 4 on top of each other still left me flat. At the reception, at 1:00 am, I asked for synthetic pillows as they are firmer and the hotel should have them as they are anti allergen. They didn’t know that they have pillows with better support. Or that they do anti allergenic pillows. When I warned them this was a standard Novotel policy, they said they would do something, and at 1:20 am someone showed up with a single small pillow which had seen better days 40 years ago when it was made.

If we ever visit Nuremberg again we will definately stay there again with closed eyes! Great hotel with very friendly and helpfull stuff. 3 minutes walk from the central station and 5 minutes from the entrance of the old town. Great location. Amazing breakfast with huge variety. Very safe with lots of facilities especially if u are travelling with children. We booked our room with breakfast included and we also had access to the pool, spa and gym. There is also a very nice restaurant and bar in the ground floor with reasonable prices. Highly recommended!! Thank you for this wonderful experience!
