Hotel VICTORIA Nurnberg

If not for the excellent service and location, I think calling this a 4-star hotel is a bit of a stretch. Comparable to a basic Marriott in accommodations, this hotel offers simple curated rooms and an underwhelming design given the prices. Booking a suite does not include a complimentary minibar either, a first for us in Germany, and a disappointing find at check out. This does not meet the threshold for a luxury hotel, but is a great middle of the road option for those traveling to Nuremberg.

Absolute perfect location, walking distance to station and old town, only thing I would note is room does not have kettle or coffee making facilities but the staff will assist you to make one, you just need to ask.

The location was perfect, the rooms are very nice (with a great view!!) and the breakfast is delicious. We strongly recommend this hotel

The hotel was very nice and our family room had a good amount of space with a nice layout. The breakfast was quite nice with a large selection of items.

The drawback is the location is a bit of a walk (15-20m) to all the tourist locations you'll probably want to visit. On the plus side, it is very close to the train station for getting to and from the city.

Needed a place at the last minute and we were super happy to find this hotel. Friendly reception. Nice room. Location is close to the station (so lots of homeless nearby) but still very quiet in the room. Breakfast looked really expansive with many different options but we had to catch an early train and missed it.

Had a great experience staying here. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel in a very long time. The staff was super friendly too. Room was great. Only downside was that the pillows weren’t very comfortable and there was no conditioner in the room. Bed was actually really comfortable and great location.

Staff were very smiling and friendly. They helped with everything. The location is good. Breatfast was great. Just 4 minutes walking to the train station. You can go all over the city by walking.

You dont need to look for any other place to stay.

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at hotel Victoria at the end of November/start of December.

Our experience was brilliant. The rooms are modern, clean, warm, and very quiet. There are plentiful amenities supplied, as well as signage offering further items upon request (different pillows, toothbrushes, sewing kits, etc). We both slept very well, and felt extremely at home!

The breakfast was a standout feature of our stay. The dining room and breakfast bar are very well turned out, with all the freshly made food presented beautifully - and it all tasted as good as it looked. The breakfast offerings were slightly differently each morning, which was really nice. I am a vegetarian, and had more than enough choice each day including a particularly nice egg salad. A highlight of the breakfast was the selection of freshly baked cakes and crumbles.

However, all of the loveliness of the hotel itself was outshone by the staff. They honestly couldn't have been a friendlier, more welcoming, more knowledgeable bunch. Everyone we spoke to, from the housekeeping ladies to the front desk crew (shout out to Joshua for his invaluable hospitality and top tips for the Christkindlesmarkt! His absolute fluency of English really went the extra mile that my conversational German cannot reach) Were fundamentally nice people. Lots of smiles and friendliness to go around!

If we are ever in Nuremberg again (and I hope we are), we will be returning to Hotel Victoria.

Amazing staff and the best hotel breakfast you can find! Location is perfect - right next to the train station.
